Our mids had a fair bit of pace today. Really enjoyed not watching the 20m snap to an opponent and the 50cm handball to someones feet.

His kicking is the best of all the mids too.
I tend to agree with our improvement on our speed. It's a shame that Priddis is such a fantastic ball winner, it's just that he is lacking so much in speed and disposal efficiency. Makes for a more complex midfield set up when he should only really be hand-balling it.

the midfield certainly looked more flexable without priddis today ,the game by wellers was what I thought he would bring when we traded our 1st rd pick ,he will be a very good player for wce ..
Yep spot on - we looked very slow but we were always going to against the Suns. They are going to be very scary very soon. Impressed with Wellingham - if we could get our full strength midfield on the park next season we'll be right up there.
Give us a full side and replace our worst two mids with sheed and yarran. It can be done over the off season as far as im concerned without too much difficulty. I could really see yarran costing us our second rounder plus smith and i'd be more than happy with that.
Priddis needs to **** off permanently because as far as i see it going forward we can only fit one of scooter, priddis and hutchings into our mid rotation and scooter long term is far and away the best of the 3. Hutchings could play a role as our last mid picked each week but that would be it. Shuey, Masten, Scooter, Wellingham, Yarran, Sheed, Gaff with rucks of Nicnat and Lycett is potentially a very strong midfield.
I'd happily dump sheppard, priddis, dalziell, mcginnity, hams, dick, tunbridge and cripps (happy to give 1-2 more years to see if full development gives an improvement in skills and decision making)off our list at the drop of a hat. You add our retirements over the next two years of selwood, embley, glass, cox and kerr and thats a fair amount of list to turn over. Bring on the next generation of players.

Yarran's good, but will cost us quite a bit.
Would rather use a second/third pick on Garlett rather than a first round pick on Yarran, and I don't think we have enough stock to trade to get Yarran without using that first pick.

Will be back in the side against essendon unfortunately. Everytime he returns it feels like the team takes a step back and loses a touch of pace.

Nah, Priddis has a redeeming quality that Scooter does not have. He takes clean possession of the ball. Im hopeful that Scooter corrects this then yeah he is the best of the 3. If not, then Scooter is forever doomed to be tagger.
