I would wait until we see our side play against a top 4 team without Priddis before asserting that his absence is an overall positive.

Our midfield is utterly average up against the best teams when he's there, so that doesn't make much sense. In fact, he gets shown up regularly in big games.

Oh god, what bullshit. He's not a scapegoat and never has been. He's been wildly, wildly overrated by the majority of this board since he's got to the club. Only a few of us were consistent with our criticism over the years and it's only been since this year and late last year that more and more have jumped on board.

A scapegoat is what Masten was in his first few years. Priddis is not, and never has been a scapegoat. He's an average footballer who has been massively overrated for years and finally people are starting to see him for what he is.

Yep totally, he's done exceptionally well given his skill set to get a constant game, not his fault. The MC on the other hand ... but I don't feel like flogging a dead horse right now.

If you've been hangning it on Priddis since 07 that's not entirely a good thing. There was definately a time where his short comings were not as pronounced and his strengths were more relevant.
