A scapegoat is what Masten was in his first few years. Priddis is not, and never has been a scapegoat. He's an average footballer who has been massively overrated for years and finally people are starting to see him for what he is.

Disagree. I'm not saying I'm talking about you here, but some of our fans are blaming him for not making the finals Ffs.
However, I'm getting pissed off with people saying that he's flat out useless. I 100% disagree. So no, it's not bullshit at all. You don't rate him highly? Fair enough. But those who greatly exaggerate their dislike of him irk me.

Granted, I'm sure a lot of these people still try and abuse Chad fletcher.

Add Jimmy Hird and Mark Thompson to the list of fools that don't know half as much about footy as the Bigfooty Priddis Hate League. They sent their best tagger Hocking to Priddis - and it failed.

But anyone, don't let me interrupt your wan#fest.

Was probably our third best midfielder behind Masten and Wellingham today. We look a lot better when he's not the number 1 guy.

Thats actually doesnt answer any questions , Hocking is a big bodied snail. How is Priddis going to go against Swan, Pendlebury, Thomas, JSelwood, Duncan, Jack, Hanneberry, Mundy, Fyfe etc?
In other words against elite teams.
 
He was very good, but so were Wellingham and Masten. I gave him three votes because as the senior member of the midfield group, this is what he should be doing on a regular basis. Wellingham and Masten had slightly more flare in their game (Also because I tend to rate players who can do inside and outside roles as being better players in general).

There's no need to chastise/apologise/rationalise for Priddis' game though, he played well and as some have said, that needs to be recognised.

*Just as his more inferior games with similarly high possession tallies do as well.

Oh this one again...

Taggers have gone to Priddis numerous times throughout his career...it makes sense in theory, when the vast majority of our ruckwork is designed to hit it down his throat. However, the teams that have had the best luck against us tagging wise are the ones that tag Shuey...because he's genuinely our most damaging mid. A bad decision by the EFC not to go to Masten or even Wellingham.
