Priddis i think cops it way to much from our supporters.
He is highly rated by the media, opposition Coaches, Opposition players.
I have watched closely and he is elite at getting the ball from clearances but i think blame should be placed on the players around him. On Saturday night constantly players would pass the ball to Priddis who was surrounded and held by the opposition players who is then forced to slam it on the book to get it out of there.
I would agree that he is not a player that the midfield should be built around but he has to be there for his strengths and that is getting the first use of the ball and getting it to our better users of the ball. Masten, Shuey, Kerr and Wellingham. 2011 was his best year i think and he proved that with quite a few votes in the Brownlow and in that year he was just doing his job and letting the more skilled players have the ball on the outside.

Priddis hardly cops it from supporters. You only need to go to the West Coast website to see he's leading the 3-2-1 peoples choice award.
Priddis isn't a good first or second recieve player. That's not a revelation @Cris_6678. Shuey, Gaff, Wellingham are all competent at player such a role at stoppages, it's not deficient on other players who are first to the ball to want to clear it to the nearest player. If that player is flat footed and not spreading then that's hardly the fault of the player with first hands.

Cousins was a real character, everything I have seen from Priddis is Mr. Nice Guy. Thats not character. Masten is a character. Cox is a character. Priddis is not.

Priddis would have to be the most boring player in the AFL.
The most exciting thing to happen to him was when Krakouer semi beat him up and gave away 50m when we played the suns in the pre season in 2011.

Someone has to do a gif of that clearance he got in the last quarter where he just ran through everyone. Will never see it again.

His a good player why does everyone here hate him?
I dont think we hate him...at least I dont. I just think at times that he could be wasting a spot that a young up n commer could use, and because he can only play in one position it makes it hard for him to rotate with others.

Yes, his slow, can't kick, bad decision making, cant make, not quick, no defensive pressure, let boomer harvey have point of the century, cant kick 50m, no kicking skills on right boot, cant jump. But who's spot is he really taking? Hutchings?
Against gold coast I noticed our midfield seemed to have a bit more flair and class. Less bang on boot directly to opposition. Our clearances were more effective as a result. This was the gane where priddis was out injured.
