Like many of your holier-than-thou clique, you have a spectacular habit of missing the point. Point being that fans of clubs who are doing really well don't sit around reminiscing about three or four occasions where their side played good football. Playing good football is a regular occurrence. It's expected. It happens 18 or 20 times. It's a bumper sticker, cap, or jacket that says "Premiers". I see these in brown and gold. In red and white. In blue and white. In black and white.

The point you miss my friend is that we all know things aren't great after losses like yesterday. The holier-than-thou clique knows there are issues that need addressing.
We also know that it aint the coaches fault entirely (he takes some responsibility, of course).
Give us some balance and your opinion would be treated with a bit more respect. But at this stage, unless you've got the bumper sticker you won't be happy.
And mate, three or four occasions? We won 15 games last year and played well in a couple we lost... hear anything from you during that streak of form did we?

They don't come in black and gold
They might or might not, bloody hard to win with 18 teams etc etc (all been pointed out before and ignored before). One thing I do know is if we sack Dimma now, as you insist we do, then a new coach will bring in a new broom, rip apart what we've been doing and start again. 3/4 years into this the stars of Cotchin, Deledio, Reiwoldt & others will start to dim & the merry go round keeps on going.
The easiest thing in the world to do is change for the sake of change just so you can be seeming to do something, it takes guts to stick to a plan when that plan is subject to the ups and downs of a comp like the AFL.
None of us likes losing, especially winnable games, but that's sport! In fact that's life really.
I personally feel uncomfortable bagging Richmond players & coaches, doesn't mean I can't see the faults, but I trust those who are so much closer to it to work their arses off to rectify them.
Plus if, even in defeat, you can't find any solace in the performances of Griffiths, the debut of Gordon, the refusal to accept a ten goal defeat & almost snatch an unlikely victory, or even acknowledge our excellent year in 2013, then I'm afraid your appearing only to bag the players, coach & club can't be taken seriously.

As plenty of people were lining up to tell you last week (yes, I was on here last week, contrary to this bulldust doing the rounds that I've only ever posted after a loss), winning and playing good football are not the same thing. I can see this. Plenty of Richmond fans can see this. I am entitled to my view that Hardwick is a substandard coach and that we are struggling. Moreover, I think plenty of people agree with me.

Pride would be the whole team donating their match day paycheck to charity because they didn't earn it and want the fans to know they are not happy with their performance!

Sigh. ALL Richmond fans can see we are struggling. We ALL know winning and playing good football are not the same thing. And yes you are entitled to your opinion. It's your one-sided constant negativity that gets my back up. One or two might agree with me too.

To be fair, you were on here complaining that it was like a loss & sack Dimma - and that was after beating Carlton, and in all the positive threads about individuals you were nowhere to be seen. The Dear Dimma roast got a work out though!;)

Get some sleep Anfield. Big game in a few hours.
I'm happy for anyone to have an opinion on anything but I have to admit I always find the concentrating on coaches amusing.
I can understand posters ripping into players because you can see it,it's almost tangible.
Whether you're at games or not you can see a players skill, effort etc.
With coaching we are guessing.
We don't really know if the players aren't able to execute a plan, whether they believe in his message, do they trust him?
For all anyone knows he could have all the answers just a shit squad of players.
Maybe he's a dud.
I can understand when a coach is criticized for something like the Jack/Vickery thing if its a spectacular failure but for supporters to sit there and try to explain why one coach out coached another is a bit fanciful for me.

I'm not on the sacking bandwagon, but their is plausibility in ruthlessness at the current time. I fear Hardwick is not dissimilar to Harvey in the sense he could only achieve so much with his list. But I fear a new coach, as you say, would bring the broom and start all over, which is why Mark Williams is the only alternative for me. He, like Lyon, is a proven coach, but he also understands the workings inside our football club and also knows the players, particular the younger ones, he would bring experience into the coaching roles, match day nous and maybe even not so big a broom as a result of his involvement in the club. He may even allow some of the younger kids a go.

Please don't ask how that isn't anti-sacking, I myself don't even know after that...

Pride? Ha!

The biggest concern for me is one thing.....

Each week, we don't know if the players are going to turn up and give it their all. They might, they might not.

That is an indictment on both them and our coach.

Shame is a word I would associate RFC with, not pride.

Lol yer apparently our guys take "Pride" in:
Defensive aspects of the game
Hard gut running
Not allowing opposition to "get a run on"
The jumper, each other, their supporters

At least they've given up telling us how much that Prelim Final "hurt"....

Here's the real shocking thing Dimma/Boys....we hated losing to Carlton, it hurt everyone....but believe it or not, we actually were proud to be tigers that day...just to be there....

...To tell us that the Prelim Final hurt and that you have "pride in what you do" yet come out in 2014 and....well...do what you've done this year....scrape 1/3 against bottom 8 opposition.... get stuffed. Shut down the website, get your faces off the tv, shut up....stop talking....

Actions speak louder than words.

SHOW US...

Sorry mate, mine comes with a massive sarcasm smiley face thing. I'm chucking it back at those 2 clowns who only ever appear when we lose and pot the coach.

Errrm, I'm always here.

On the weekend we had soft front runners who didn't capitalise in space, it's not a pot shot it's a fact.

I listened to Harvey talk for an couple of hours and he's a dimwit. It wouldn't of taken the board of Freo to have some serious concerns after a few meetings with him.

How many times have you donated your pay when your performance at work was less than what you are paid for?

Don't worry, mate, a lot of the posters on here are full of crap. Firstly, they make claims that are wrong. Secondly, when you point out they are wrong, they lack the honesty to admit it and instead squirm and squeel and run around trying to make lame changes and qualifications to their claims. I've seen it with my own eyes. I know exactly what goes on. There's a reason why the Tigers have lost by an average margin of somewhere in the vicinity of 10 goals up here (in Sydney) since our win in 2004. It all gets a bit difficult and most of them just give up. One of the few who always looks like he's trying is Cotchin. Oh, and Robin Nahas in 2009 - that was a classic that game. His teammates thought he was our best centre-half-forward since David Cloke. Kept kicking it to him in one on three contests. But gee he tried his backside off. Swans defenders couldn't believe their luck, though. How can you not realise that you need someone bigger than a jockey to play centre-half-forward?

It is only round 3, but you can't that there has been a complete lack of effort. We have to turn that around before its too late.
This week is the West Coast game of last year. The season defining match.
Yeah i agree with that.
I'm not sure about the lack of effort. Not purposely anyway.
I actually question whether we are much chop all over.
I might be wrong but I just think we are a pretty average squad.

So us being a shit side, and the Swans one of the best in the afl for nearly a decade had nothing to do with it?

I've lost count of how many times we have beaten Sydney in Melbourne over the last decade but I know it's at least three times. Up here, however, we haven't beaten them since 2004. That's pathetic. We just don't perform up here.

again, a regular finals side - a grand final winner, was regularly beating a cellar dweller on their hone ground, and you are surprised by this?

On what grounds should the RFC of 2005-13 be beating the Swans at the SCG? They were more skilled than us, bigger than us, masters at tempo football, masters on the small SCG. What was our reason to win other than "we is due"?
