With Matthew Primus out for a while how does everyone reckon this will effect Port Power.
Will they continue to win or struggle without their captain and probably the best ruckmen in the lead.

It does hurt when you lose a ruckmen of his callibre. And consediring Lade is already out, it means you will be on your 3rd best ruckman (barnaby French i presume).

Barnaby French played his first game for a while yesterday in the sanfl after coming back from a broken leg. He may have to be rushed back in after Primus' injury.

But when your lose 1st choice ruckman, your second choice ruckman was already out, and your 3rd choice ruckman is just getting over a broken leg, it becomes difficult for anyside to maintain dominance in the ruck - which is where winning a game begins.

If I was Port, I wouldn't use French yet. If that was his first game in the SANFL yesterday, no point using him.
They have Dean Brogran, a rookie list player 199cm tall. They also have a Toby Thurstans who is 195cm tall. I don't know if these 2 are ruckman but one of them with their height could play in ruck for Port.
I know nothing about Toby and Dean. Port supporters? Would 1 of them be a ruckman?

Primus is by far the best ruckman in the league. He had 42 hitouts last night, whereas the whole collingwood team only managed 20. And he runs and runs and presents himself and also gets the ball q uite a lot.

Dean Brogan is a ruckmen for South Adelaide who has been overly impressive this year. Port fans have wanted him to be put on the senior list as he has been probably Souths second best player behind another Port rookie Chris Hall.

Toby Thurstans is mainly a half back/half forward who also has been in top form for Sturt in the SANFL. He has been pushing for a spot for hte last few weeks, and i think you will find that if Wakelin doesnt come up then Thurstans will get a game anyway. We also have Adam Morgan who plays ruck for North Adelaide but has been injured of late.

And dont forget Ackland who will have to stand up now and show what he has got. He has been impressive so far this year, lets hope he can prove himself.
