Any more priority picks ?

If you count 2 x 2nd rounders that we " had to use " or lose.
They gave us **** all. A couple of picks that GC / GWS have spent a decade throwing away to trade out salary. If they didn't want to give pointy end picks they should have at least loaded up and let us actually trade for decent players / picks. Something like 3 start of 2nd round picks for a couple of years (with no North exclusive trade / take em off clauses) would be a good start. The other option the AFL have IMO which would take a lot less arguing with clubs and more quick direct action would be to give additional list spots and salary cap relief reducing over several years (known up front). They say they want teams to become more competitive earlier but refuse to amend the cap minimum. They need to give smaller clubs at the bottom the ability to significantly outcompete to get established, good senior players in.

They could’ve easily given us access to Sanders, it would’ve been a no brainer in terms of sell to the public and other clubs.
The kid would’ve likely headed off back to Tassie anyway.
Yet they listened to uproar in the media and clubland. We’ll never get a PP

If we lose to Richmond this week…
Then something has to come our way even if it’s just extra list spots/extra soft cap space/extra salary cap space

You can’t finish bottom 2 six years in a row
Don't be surprised if West Coast gets priority picks even though they won a flag 7 years ago and we've been a rabble since then and get nothing

Another second rounder would be handy to make some plays at JUH and Windhager. Cant see it happening given we didnt even try last year saying we have enough /sigh. Cart, horse.

It won't happen and you need to make peace with that now.

Especially because we voluntarily traded away our own 1st round pick this year.

You don't get to do that and then turn around and cry-poor.

We are in a bed of our own making and we need to get ourselves out of it with some tough decisions and accountability.

Yes we can the problem is the other clubs are getting sick of us asking for priority picks.
The easy solution is Sack Rawlings as it’s common knowledge he has destroyed our club otherwise the only way out is that the AFL take over our licence do supporters want that as I can guarantee %100 all the other clubs will push for it.
As this club has no friends at the top of the ladder or at the bottom of the ladder

Worth considering that the AFL taking on more input into our club might actually mean they give us useful assistance as our lack of progress would then reflect on them directly.

This horse has well and truly bolted. Not sure why it's even getting discussed.
Yep. We shouldn't get anything. Need to make better decisions.
I think they'll take the rookie spots off us as well, it's the AFL's way of sending a message.
We could've split pick 2/3 (if we still had it) if the plan is to get more picks to take another draftee or trade for players.
We could split 21 into GWS 29 and 36, Swans 27 and 45, Port 25 and 43 for example.
There's enough options there to get ourselves out of it with good decisions.

AFL will do something that our current Club Administration arnt doing atm and go thru the whole club with a REAL review not some BS one done by a mate of everyone at our club.
The day we did get those Priorities Picks was an embarrassing day for our club because as a club we stuffed it up .
The other 17 clubs arnt going to give the ok to more Priority Picks especially with Tasmania coming in.
As a club we will need to perform the greatest miracle in football in 2026 and jump up the ladder by some way maybe a 10-12 next year as if that doesn’t happen it will be a bottom 2 finish again .
How many mistakes is the club going to make before something is done.
