2014Prison Bars as our home, the Teal pre season jumper from couple of years ago as our clash jumper.

I concour. That is not the case, since the bars are simply watermarked. No bastardisations allowed
All parties failed to find any documentation saying we are banned from wearing the Prison Bars forever. Otherwise former president Eddie would have been waving it around years and years ago. There is something from 2007 saying that we can wear it for heritage rounds though, Then the AFL immediately scrapped the round which is pretty shady. The club reckons a fair replacement would be for showdowns instead, given it's a marquee game in SA footy.Has probably been discussed already but is there any info on the actual contract or terms from 1997? Would love to see what’s actually outlined.
He knew it was being scrapped for the following year, not forever.Eddie just admitted on television he only signed it as he knew heritage round was being scrapped. Very dodgy.
Yes agree, he should have let Kane have his say first. He came across as an absolute tosser in that segment on classified, yelled over Kane cornes for 7 minutes.
The agreement was for the 2007 Heritage Round and all/any future Heritage rounds. They knew they wouldn't have one in 2008 but the agreement also applies to any future Heritage rounds in 2025, 2050 etc.The AFL and Eddie McGuire have just been proved to be corrupt on live TV.
He makes it sound like we want to wear the PB full time. We don't.
The Crows should then be wearing historical SANFL guernseys representing Norwood, Glenelg, Sturt etc. They could rotate it on an annual basis.Easy solution: Port market their Showdown games as “Heritage Showdowns”.

As for surprised, he damn well knew it was coming.
If Collingwood kick up a stink about the bars, I can't wait to see what the ever-reasonable Essendon would have to say if we wanted to wear West Adelaide's jumper! The Crows should then be wearing historical SANFL guernseys representing Norwood, Glenelg, Sturt etc. They could rotate it on an annual basis.
