It's perhaps a sign of the times that Fifa 10 has generated two threads, whilst this has nothing, but it is a much improved effort from Konami this year.

I've played both extensively and for me Evo plays better, graphics are surprisingly good and once you get a halfway decent option file, licensing becomes a non-issue. Fifa is much better for online, however for a predominantly local multiplayer like me that matters little. Become A Legend mode is epic and there are some tweaks to an impressive Master League mode. All in all top game and although Fifa is a marginally better all around package the gap is not as large as it has been previously in the next gen era.

Always liked PES more than FIFA, don't really care that it's not the popular opinion.

Fifa has more leagues etc but I don't play arcade soccer games for depth. I play PES because it has better gameplay (especially on pc). If I want an in-depth soccer game, Football Manager is the only way to go.
