hmmm im gunna try and go but the onyl i can g is if i stay in the city and the only place to stay is my gfs who ive been banned from staying there, if it was in the day i could at least get my parents to pick me up or sumthin

The game won't go much later than 9pm, be out of there by 9:30 easy
Its not that late, especially for a Friday night
I am happy now I can go as I had to work on the Sunday.
BUT I still find it a baffling decision not really suited for the kiddies - which is the future.
BUT 06:30 PM is the Jumper presentation then at 7:00 the praccy match with 2 x 30 min halves. Will be over and people can head of anytime just after 08:00.
I'll grab the young fella and grab a train about 4:30 ish be there around 05:30 ish enough time for a bit of fun before the main stuff.
Plenty of time for people to get there and get into the main spirit of it and be off home at a reasonable time.
NB: I was looking at the sun today and Poowoods FD is at Rod Laver
At least we retain some of our tradition with Punt Road you can't get much better than that. Lets appreciate things like this instead of whining about every other little thing that doesn't suit us.
You cant keep all of the people happy all of the time.

A sensible post - making the most of what we are presented with and not looking to find a problem. As i have said before i would hope that if Friday is a farce then things will back to a sunday next year. Might even be anyway as we are not going to have another double long weekend march for a few years I would think.
