I liked it, especially how they keeping pumping the "loyalty" tag.

Good to finally see Chris Scott fronting the club and promoting it. Not that he hasn't but in an "advertising" capacity.
 
It's alright.
Just think billy's voice over is complete crap.

When I go home and grab a chicken fillet out the freezer tonight if I don't find Chris Scott and the leadership group in there Im not renewing my membership.

Its a bad as you think SJ, I agree can we please put Billy out to pasture. I have this horrible feeling we will be rolling him out 50 years from now in a wheelchair blinking and looking all confused screaming "frofies!!"
 
I lol'd. Bill is a clown. Does make me laugh though.

I loved the players at the end...it's noticeable that steely gaze Scott has, it scared me, so I reckon it'll have the same effect on the players at times!
 
It's a bit...disjointed. Everything else to do with the DNA campaign has been serious business, and it ends on that note too - so why the light hearted stuff centred around Brownless? I've always wanted the club to do an ad campaign that's a bit tongue in cheek ala the old St Kilda and Hawthorn ones, but this doesn't really hit the right note.
 
I don't know how you guys can dislike Billy! I admit the ad is a bit lame, but most of them are and he bleeds blue and white. Even if he is an idiot, he loves the cats like nothing else and that's good enough for me.

I would've liked a maxy rooke version of the ad though, think that would've been way funnier.

One can sort of see the embryo of the idea there but boy is it a miss.

They're sort of doing the RooBoy thing from years ago crossed with a Professor Weirdo cooking up the DNA as if we are looking for a Cats Player version of Milton the Monster. The production value looks like its been done with a crappy Handy Cam, spending about half what was spent on beer on Mad Monday.

I hope they pull it , it looks rank.

It's not a question of liking or disliking Billy. A more passionate Cat you'd be hard pressed to find. He was just being Billy. It's just that you'd hope to get something more professional from a club that prides itself on its professionalism, wouldn't you?
 
yeah aside from the increasingly dated schtick of Billy, it doesn't really stack up to that 2008 "Footy Full On" ad campaign which left you with a feeling of anticipation for the season ahead. This one leaves me feeling like our 2011 highlights reel will need a funniest home videos soundtrack.

Yeah totally agree, but it's more the clubs fault here, their idea. But maybe i got the wrong idea from some posts.

Who knows what they should do, that they can actually get to work. We'll all be members anyway, so it needs to be something to attract new ones, something more personal in my opinion... i think we're all over the loyalty ablett/bomber thing. Fans will/should always be loyal, plus looks like they had a part in all that crap, so really all this does is drag it on.
