pardon ignorance. What level of picks is usual to ensure rookies such as Maxwell/ Leonard/ Crow come to us and not someone else?

Yes. You would also have to think Agent 66 will be promoted before the season begins. Crow must be promoted or delisted as he has had his 2 years on the rookie list. We can delist him then take him again in the rookie draft if need be.

I would rather see him promoted, he looked OK in his first game, I really think he deserves to be given another go in the side.

thanks for that info. Trouble is that Maxwell and Leonard seem to be on main list for longterm injuries (Davidson and not sure who). How do they stay there when longterm injured come back?

Also a quick look at who's off and on after trade period seems to leave these two still short? How do you read it?
