Proposal - Sponsor a St Kilda Player

I would like to promote the opportunity for us as "ordinary fans" to band together and sponsor a player.

The official web site (link) gives details on what players remain available for sponsorship, the cost and the benefits to the sponsor.

Core Group player sponsorship cost = $1,500 (inc GST)

Package details:

Two (2) tickets to the 2007 Trevor Barker Award

Two (2) tickets to a Player Sponsorship dinner

One (1) signed and framed memorabilia piece by the sponsored player (jumper and photo with player)

Access to purchase match day hospitality and events at the going corporate rate

Access to purchase two (2) Final and Grand Final tickets in games where St Kilda is the participant, at the going corporate rate

Player sponsorship recognition on saints.com.au.

My thoughts are that if we can set up a register where donations are received towards the $1500 sponsorship. Each donor will be credited with a virtual raffle ticket for every $10 donated.

The above package benefits can then be distributed as prizes**

Good idea. I'd be just as happy if the package benefits could be donated to a charity to raffle off (don't know if they'd allow this).
