Trade week where it is fine.

Players jumping ship because of ladder position should be deregistered, spineless scumbags.

The date draws nearer.

Between Rnd 10 and 11 the meat market will open.

Any players keen to find a new home?

Captains any deadwood you want to rid yourselves of?

Get the caps on lads and start wheeling and dealing behind the scenes because before you know it WHAM the oppostion has a pulled off a major coup while you were playing wih the old fella.

Players, start posting to state your claim, lets hear some thoughts of the SFA. Comunicate with your captains and ask em where you stand. No Captain? How about re-electing one, one who posts.

Lets build this comp up. :thumbsu:

BM, you've read my mind.

I was going to start a thread, mainly about the Bombers and Wonders lack of a posting captain.

If teams have players who aren't getting a game at their club, but post enough to get a game elsewhere, then please consider trading them to a struggling team for not much.

Is there anything to trade other than players? Are we incorporating some other sort of bargaining chip?

Just to let you know this is what TF have in place and this is how eventually I'd like our league to look:

Salary cap, 3 captains (each team), draft, B&F medal, Media Medal, Peoples choice POTY, no free agency, trades only, if no trade can be arranged, player goes into draft.

I don't want this competition to be like TF and I'm sure others don't either. The BFFFL is its own competition and has been that way for some time. Introducing this type of stuff is rubbish in my opinion and is just a carbon copy of what TF has done and the comp would lose its indiciduality. I'm sure others would feel the same way.

I don't see the point in complicating a concept which has worked well for so long. If anything, you should be focusing on recruiting more posters to the competition rather than changing things to make things more difficult.

Yes but TFAFL is awesome the way it's run. It's atleast worth a go.

As you would know I have no idea about TF brand bud, I do however like the change Tigs is proposing for BF. Sounds exciting to me man.

Wouldnt posters post more simply because more is happening? And wouldnt that in turn attract more posters? Im failing to see a negative here but Im sure you'll help me out there.

A poll should be run to see who indeed wants it, who doesnt and who really doesnt give a shit. :thumbsu:
