Posted this in another thread and believe it to be pretty much represent the overall psyche of our midfield group... we have all the talent, but very little of the sacrifice.
I believe that our midfield as a group are incredibly selfish. Particularly guys like Murphy, Gibbs, Judd and Simpson. While they look good in getting stats going forward, none of them focus on the defensive or sacrificial aspects of working as a team. As long as they get their 30 touches, they think they're going alright. Meanwhile, other midfields, with depth of talent not fit to carry our boys boots, are cutting us up because they are prepared to sacrifice for each other.
Unless our blokes develop a culture teamwork and sacrifice for each other, we're going nowhere.
