I went through about 5-6 prior rookie drafts and can't remember finding a single young KPP (not including ruckman) that didn't turn out to be a dud. The only ones who were any good were Silvagni, Pods and maybe a few others like Gilham. Hopefully we get extremely lucky if we pick a young KPP.

So you can train players and see if they are good enough to take. Quite clearly ours were not. Port Adelaide only took Pfeiffer off its training list.

188cm forward, spent last year as a rookie with Hawthorn. Didn't follow Menegola this year, but he was a hard running forward with a strong mark and good shot on goal in the Colts.

Jordan King is the Jordan Wilson I was going on about before the draft. Small defender from North Adelaide/Darwin. I posted some videos of him. Very creative and elusive down back. He is Roger Hayden, except 10 years younger.
