PSD Options?

Tall (198cm) bottom aged KPF/ruckman who has a very strong set of hands. Was injured for most of this year so didn't have much of an impact in the TAC cup. Highly rated as a U/16 and was touted by many as a first rounder this year. Has an ungainly running style and is very skinny which may have put a few clubs off. Would be a project player and probably a bit of a risk if we where to take him but definitely fills a need.

Today Richmond is having screenings and have invited players over to trial for PSD and rookie spots. Unfortunately it's locked out.

where are they having this trial?? you'd think it's pretty hard to lock out punt road oval or gosch's paddock

Who took tom hill? I didnt see him on the draft list. I see stephen hill went to freo at #3 - If it was stephen hill you mean than at pick 70 i think we probably should have taken him if he was available with our best available player policy.

I cant see tom hill on the list of draftees this year. You arent looking at a phantom draft still are you and thinking we have picked up hamish hartlett and shaun mckernan?

Ideally we should still be able to pick up 2 or 3 of the highly touted youngsters. Here are a list of those who haven't been drafted:

- Tom Rockliffe: Small Foward. (Will be a gun)

- Clancee Pearce: Medium Defender. (Dominated Championships)

- Charlie Shaples: Small Foward.

- Casey Sibosado: Tall Foward

- Adam Varco: Medium Foward

- Jamie Sheahan: Inside Midfielder (Played SANFL seniors)

- Adam Cockie: Inside Midfielder (Played WAFL seniors)

- Steven Gaertner: Tall Utility

- Matt Debeor: Midfielder (Widley though he would have gone top 40)

Then theres also Hill, Milne, Allwright etc.

We should be able to get two of these players in the Pre-season then rookie draft (hopefully 2 of Debeor, Rockliffe, Cockier, Sibasado) and may even still an Adam Varco with our second rookie pick

Can't find link but seems Rockliff could train at Port but nothing concrete yet. He didn't mention anything about Richmond seems unlikely

what the hell is wrong with this kid?? Is he the one who was not taken last year - when he was expected to be a top 30 pick, but was bottom age?

i would go De Boer, our midfield isnt that flash yet - another prospect would be great.

In the rookie draft do with Sibasado, rockcliffe, shaples, pearce or Varcoe -whoever is availlable

if this is true, i think it is a good move Klemke is like a junior clone of chris newman, hard at it, very competitive and excellent leadership skills as captain of murray u/18

i think we lack 1 more quality small defender, IMO king is too small and his kicking is too unpredictable, we dont know how Raines will come back after injury, McMahon is more of an outside type defender, Tambling i think is more suited from past the centrline (body not strong enough in 1 on 1's)

so i think this is a a smart move for richmond, if we dont go this way i would like to see richmond go for a quick, crumbing sml/medium forward, possibly indigenous to tkae over from brown in a couple of years, because i think edwards is good enough to play midfield once he beefs up and conners strengths are in the air rather than crumbing

however the only sml forward of this category is charlie shaples, so not sure he warrants a spot on full list maybe rookie list at best
