Two Hinkleys you say? :thumbsu:

Anyway, no to both Tenace and Buckley. We don't need anymore bit part players and that's exactly what both of them are, neither are genuine midfielders. Tenace is an outside mid with average skills and Buckley is a running defender with average skills. We already have both of those positions covered.

I reckon Buckley can play. He is pretty quick and showed a fair bit in 2008 but had injuries in 2009. I am surprised he has been delisted and reckon someone will pick him up.
Valenti and Tenace no way for mine

Swans got the axe out.

Ryan Brabazon, Daniel O'Keefe and Matthew Laidlaw got chopped.

O'Keefe was pick 15 in 2006. 184cm, not sure what position he plays though.

.

Ryan Brabazon was a former Jack Clarke medallist. Claremont boy with good pace and the ability to rack up big numbers, if his body his fine I'd gladly give him a go he'd be 20/21 max.

Tom Lee was delisted by Adelaide today. KPP from WA who was only drafted last year. Maybe Brades or Chris can tell us what happened there?

I can't help that much in regards to Lee, and I doubt the Adelaide media will talk about much else other than Shirley getting delisted.

I think Lee just wasn't developing as quickly as someone on a senior list should be. He was averaging around 6 touches in the SANFL reserves, and apparently there was a bit of an attitude problem (particularly at training). I'd expect him to get rookie listed by the Crows though.

Of the Adelaide delistings, Aaron Kite is the one with the most talent. 192cm athletic forward/defender, who can also run through the midfield. I think he was more a victim of the other Adelaide players developing more quickly than anything else.

Do we really need a 29 year old outside runner? We already have Hinkley, who will end up owning that position. While I can't imagine him fitting in with our youth policy.

I still think we should be going after Browne or Wellingham, instead of picking through the leftovers from other clubs.

Attitude problems and Aaron Kite is a mummies boy Victorian. Seems most of the Vics are mummies boys these days.

Have Browne and Wellingham not re-signed?
We would likely only draft one young recycled player, if any. The delisted KPPs might could get looked for a rookie spot. The Geelong lads were promising U/18s in 2007 but have no idea how they have developed since then.

I can't help but feel we should have tried harder to get someone in the PSD. Who cares if it makes you look bad to some. It seems we went all or nothing with Davey and that was it.

Don't really want rejects from other teams, we might as well pick Gilmore up again. Would have preferred to snag a decent player. The only "decent" players seem to be the old guys like Robbo, Wojo, NG Brown for which there really is no point for Freo.

The best player I can think of who might be in the PSD (and who isn't Luke Ball) is MacDonald from Brisbane. Not a superstar but he'd make our best 22 pretty easily I would think.

Like who though?? It's not like playing for Fremantle is a very attractive proposition at the moment, and any player that we lured to the PSD would also have to be willing to play for Melbourne or Richmond.

:D That's going too far!!!

Lol. I really hope that you are right Chris. I really do. 2010 will be a massive year for him then.

If we were to get either Ball ( unlikely ) or McDonald ( more likely ) I will be over the moon.
Both are "A" list players that would be both in our starting 18.
Roll on the the drafts.
