Yeah, very talented and very unlucky, but knees aren't meant to be reconstructed that many times. Whatever footy he manages to produce it won't be consistently good- he just won't be able to get up week after week.

Yeah yeah big dude, mobile for size, good junior, former high pick, etc.

But couldn't get games under Bluey as he wasn't thought to be good enough. New coach ... couldn't get games under Rocket in an injury depleted cellar dweller this season either because he wasn't good enough.

Bottom line ... he's not good enough to play AFL.

I would have a look at Murray Newman, seems to have pulled his head in and he can play. Very hard to get a game at the Eagles last year.

Gorringe has been tried in almost every position in a young team.

FWD, DEF, Wing and ruck and hasn't held his spot in any position.

Surely there is a better option?

Isn't he still facing serious sex crime charges? If so, North can keep him. If convicted, and I am not intimating that he will be, he could end up in jail. Too problematic an option IMHO.
