Matthew Wright would be a good option as well. Maybe there are some options for us in the PSD.

Just shipped menzel off, no more with dodgy knees that can't do a full pre season. A definite NO to Morabito! If we need some midfield support I'd be looking at Matty Wright first. Possibly Morabito if the Dockers don't re-rookie him.
Don't think anyone we could take has a higher ceiling than Morabito. Not sure if we've beefed up our medical department, but if we can trust our guys to get something out of those knees, would be an ideal low risk high reward scenario.

A bit perplexed at the moment.
Have believed this thread was futile.
We have not flagged a change to a 40/4 model, and with the list lodgements, other clubs
have nominated rookie upgrades, we have not.
Keep us guessing Blues.
The reality you ignore is painfully obvious, "if", and with the track record he has you choose to stick your head in the sand! No more fantasies with recruiting please, only cold hard facts and REALITY! Thank god SOS is exactly that!

Robbie Warnock
Age: 28
Clubs: Fremantle (2007-2008), Carlton (2010-2015)
Games: 88
2015 summary: Appeared in rounds five and eight but suffered season-ending multiple shoulder dislocations in his second match.
Pros: Experienced depth ruckmen can be good value if clubs get them on the cheap and Warnock has shown he does have talent.
Cons: Is coming off a bad shoulder problem, and has had injury issues which have knocked his confidence.
Would suit: North Melbourne, Brisbane Lions and St Kilda

There was a school of thought once we wouldn't pick anyone incapable of playing 100 games for us.
Matthew Wright isn't much younger than Ellard.
I think we have enough mature players that can lead the young. We don't need any more bench warmers I'd rather we spend the time in giving out kids a go

Please don't play with my brain, BT.
I still think Ahmed Saad is worth a Punt. Apart from the unknown in Sumner, we don't have any small crumbing forwards with good finishing skills.
Ah OK. Consistency was one thing a was concerned about, which is why he got the chop from the Saints I think, but was a good finisher at times. I was up watching GC v the Saints at Metricon the year before he was suspended and he tore GC a new one in that game.I've seen him at Preston and the NBs and St Kilda and he just isn't the answer to any of our issues. He's been tried over several years and although he may pop up with a handful of goals every now and then he just lacks consistency and class.
Sam Grimely?
Nah, Sam Kerridge is just fine...
