Probably in 12 months when his contract is up. Same with Boekhorst as well.

No idea on Vojo, Boekhorst is a Work In Progress. If it wasn't for the burden of being our First Draft Pick.........he showed signs.

I'm not afraid to Draft a player that i know will only ever be a solid vfl player.
We have to ensure our twos is a safe place to develop.

Seriously? What logic is that theory?
Everytime the recruiting team draft someone into the Carlton Football Club it should be because they genuinely believe they can be serious AFL players. We're not in the busines to help the Two's win matches.

Draft picks don't win matches, a strong supported development program wins matches. Contrary to popular belief the play the kids mantra is not good developing.

I also said rookie mature players for the twos. Not pick 1 or 8 or 11 or 19

We've already brought in seven 21-24 year olds this month alone. I'd set a ceiling of 21yo on any further players we bring in.

We really need some wins in the 1995-97 age group or we'll be facing a deficit in coming years - just as we've been actively boosting 1991-94 these past 2 trade periods.

Yeah I agree.
If Boek can get a full preseason under his belt then we might see him at his best in 2016.

Starting to look pretty iffy unfortunately.
Boek will be fine
One year on our list & he is looking a bit iffy? A year in which we had two senior coaches & both our AFL & VFL teams were absolutely crap. There wouldn't be too many kids who could show something in such an environment.

Boek and Tutt are in the same 'deer in headlights' boats. Only when they get over this will we see if they can really play. Giving these boys a can of mongrel might be the first step... and license to play on at all costs.

It's actually both.

Jake Bradley – (Forward 176cm/66kgs)
Son of Carlton legend, Craig Bradley. He’s nimble and raw. Very raw. Has spent time training with Melbourne. An outside runner with pace, he needs to concentrate on his consistency. Goes missing in matches too often but the talent is there.

can we hide him and develop him in the SANFL for say 100 games?

Don't think Boeky is in the same category, he'll take the game on (or at least try to) and a crowd/tackler with evasion, whereas Tutt just freezes up under pressure.

I agree at times Boek and Tutt were deer in headlights but many of our team were.
It's hard not to when we had no system around the ball and no real discernible method with field positioning. It made for a season where all our players regularly kicked under pressure to players under pressure. Hard to develop poise in that work environment.

Exactly. No game was a better example of this, than for our record loss against Hawthorn.
One of the few games I went to this year but enjoyed watching Hawthorn close space, make space and play to an obvious plan.
Us? Running around like headless chooks with no support from one another.

Throw the 2 styles around and our squad would have beat Hawthorns. That's how much difference system makes and inspires confidence.
Hopefully this year BB brings the system and we can find out whether these young men can play.

Ugh. This is getting tiresome.

"This player looks like a deer in the headlights."
"That player just throws the ball on the boot."

Perhaps these things are related? Maybe they're both responses to having no clear targets presenting to the ball carrier? Maybe, just maybe, the ease that our ball carriers were pressured and isolated was an indication of just how poor we were playing as a team last year?

I would expect a top 30 pick to show something in their first year regardless of situation. Everyone has played in a dud team somewhere throughout a career. One vfl coach all year & 547 injuries. The Ed curnows of the footy world would bust a gut to get in the seniors. I saw 3 afl games & hardly noticed him let alone saw impact.

I'm entitled to an opinion & would be stoked to be wrong but he looks a bust thus far IMO
