Does anyone know if I can get Crash Team Racing for PAL? I dont think it has been released on the Australian PSN, so is it possible for me to make like a European account and buy it that way?

Thanks in advance
It's on the AU PS Store.

Go to 'All Games'>'PSone'>'A-C'>And it's the 2nd Last Game.

Was free on a PS+ month I think, so I already have it. But it's $8.45.

I haven't had time to check the store in a while, but I will try and check it out tonight.

Cheers for the help mate!

Huge month of PS+ this month. About 10 PSN games for free.

The big 2, personally, Awesomnauts and Max Payne.

Max Payne only because I was going to go back and play through it on PC, but seeing as I don't have a controller for PC it would've been awkward as hell. Now I get to play it on a console. Even though it's no HD upgrade or anything, it's still going to be awesome going back and seeing what made this series so awesome right before the newest comes out.

And Awesomenauts looks like a neat little 2D brawler with interesting online integration.

There's also these 8 games that are free, I think the quality of the titles does vary a bit, but still, 8 free games:

Also going to be a 20% discount on eerie PS Move game Datura later this month. I'm really looking forward to seeing what that's about.

absolutely awesome the amount of free games this month

i downloaded all barr that mahjong one and more mini free games which weren't listed...deadset ridiculous value ps+...RIDICULOUS!

got the place to myself all day/night so full day of footy and get to try out a few of the freebies :D

Tried the demo of Wakeboarding HD when it first came out. It's pretty cool.

HBK, did you see goodgames review on Journey?
Hex, I think loved the game more than you :-P

Nah, haven't, haven't watched GoodGame for a LONG time. Will check the review out.

I'd go on a Journey with Hex though.;)

So Skullgirls has come out literally a day after I bought 30 bucks worth of stuff on PSN. What was up with the delay on that release, it's been out over in America for nearly a month.

Probably localisation issues.

You may have. She was as intrigued as you as to whom she'd played the game with, showing a screen shot of that list you can view at the end.
No doubt if she had've played through the majority of the game with someone else it would've made the first time around that much more amazing.

I've been hearing so many stories of people that have met others and gone through parts and then lost their companion and been shattered because of it (one of the GiantBomb staff couldn't go back and complete the game because of how disappointed he was to lose his buddy!). So strange that an online game makes people sad to not be with a random person. But that's really why it is so amazing, my 2nd time around experience was incredibly fun guiding around the other person I was with. As weird as it sounds, there was a true bond made.

Hoping the upcoming Datura can offer a really unique experience like Journey/Flower did too. The game just looks like my kind of weird.

hbk you are such a nerd lol

tried a few of the games last night, the plane one i didn't get past the tutorial cause it was boring me, the brick breaking game was OK but when you compare it to a masterpiece like shatter it just doesn't cut it and that wakeboarding game is actually pretty cool and reminds me a bit of joe danger in how it all works.

also tried awesomenauts before and it seems pretty cool too, just feels a bit too slow to start off with...i hope you get a speed upgrade or something later on.

i really need to start a game and finish it though....i've been all over the shop lately and barely played more than afew hours on anything for the last couple months.

Ok so I finished off I Am Alive today. Must say I enjoyed probably the first half of the (short) game, but the last half and the ending were extremely disappointing. I'm comfortable in my view that it's the single worst, laziest ending of a game I've ever played. For a game that is narrative-driven, it's a shocker. I guess part of it is that I love those suspenseful, lone-mission type games and I was really looking forward to what it promised.

Oh well.

Have played through Journey twice now. The second time was interesting. I met four people along the way; the first guy followed me everywhere like a little puppy dog and it was actually kind of annoying. The next guy I lost. The third guy kept rushing ahead whilst I was trying to collect all the scarf extension hologram things, and the last guy (or girl) was playing pretty much the exact same style and pace as me. I loved how the game is such a different experience and that you have no idea who these other companions are. It's pretty amazing, though, how most people are instantly drawn to the companionship of the journey and keen to play along together. I imagine that is what it would be like in an actual environment with very few people, in that they'd be drawn to each other and pool their efforts/resources. There's so much to think about in this game. High quality, low quantity, but one of the more memorable gaming experiences for me over the last 12 months or so.

How much is PS+ and where do you get it? Is it worth it? Never really payed any attention to it before.

ps+ is 69 or 79 dollars for a full years subscription and you get shitloads of free games, avatars, beta trials etc....it's pretty amazing tbh.

basically if you get it this month you'll have about 15-20 free games to choose from....some of whih are still selling for about 80 odd dollars......
currently have warhammer 40,000 downloading :D:thumbsu:

Grab it off the PS Store from the PS+ section, it's the no.1 tab on the store when it opens up.

Lara Croft is a fantastic game for sure. Can go back and see what I thought of it earlier in the thread. Really fun game.

Anyone got a date of when the Tony Hawk HD game is coming out? All I can fine is June 2012 :/
Downloadable games don't generally get solid dates until very late as they're usually cases of 'once it's done it's out there'.

It's a frustrating part of the downloadable game genre really. There's always some great stuff to look forward to, but you never really know when to look forward to it with the nature of how they get released basically whenever they're finished.

The Unfinished Swan is a game that I'm really looking forward to after seeing some of the gameplay and hearing impressions after E3. The game has been in development for 3 years, a huge time for a downloadable game that'll likely only go for 2 hours. Apparently is on the final stages now though, but still in that stage where no date can be given.
