"Within a 100 yards of the back entrance to Karrakatta Cemetery"

The warehouse where the weird diagrams and jewellery was reported in the Post Newspaper was found is closer to the back entrance of Karrakatta Cemetery, than the haunted house BTW.

Apparently, the Ghost house is not more than 100 yards from the back entrance to Karrakatta Cemetery. So it's probably a street or so back from Government Rd.

Here is a letter to the newspaper written by the house occupiers, prior to the exorcism.

I'm was guessing that the Ghost house must be further from the back entrance of Karrakatta than the warehouse, because there's no houses on Government Rd where the rear entrance is.

However, I could be wrong.
There's an Early Learning Centre on Government Rd that appears to be a converted house. It is next door to the warehouse in the Post Newspaper article. It is apparently where one of the alleged CSK victims worked. It is within 100 yards from the rear entrance of Karrakatta cemetery, as per the letter found in Trove from the occupant of the house that was subjected to the exorcism by an Anglican Bishop in 1950's.
If the Early Learning centre is actually of the site of the haunted house, could this be why Anglican priest and Police Chaplain, Fr Barry May became involved in the case?

Well worth a read of your interested in the "Psychic Taskforce event" at Burswood Casino on September 27 2008, which featured psychics Scott Russell Hill, Anthony Grzelka and Deb Malone, who presented a raft of claims regarding the unsolved murders and the supposed killer in the Claremont serial killings.

Mentioned in the above article is a reference to an earlier article called Murders
Clairvoyants by Brett Christian which appeared in The Skeptic, Autumn 2004, Vol 24, No 1 on pages 6-8.

Ethan Doyle White publishes An Interview with Dr. Nevill Drury

I was approached by Sydney-based documentary-maker Frank Heimans to plan a 90-minute television programme on occult beliefs and practices around the world and Frank managed to raise $350,000 to finance it, which at the time was quite a lot of money. We filmed in Perth, Western Australia, where there were several Wiccan covens and also in the Yanchep caves north of Perth where a group of local enthusiasts carried out rituals based on ancient Egyptian magic – that made for some spectacular visual imagery. We also filmed a group of Sydney-based Christian fundamentalists ‘casting out demons’

Apparently Dr Neville Drury wrote an article called "Magic and Cyberspace: Fusing Technology and Consciousness in the Modern World". Has anyone got the article?

According to one blogger, "He talks about how the Internet can be used for role-playing. We can become something that we're really not." "Drury says, It comes as no surprise, then, that neopagans and occultists of all descriptions have been quick to embrace the Internet as a new means of communication." "Drury seems to be connecting cyberspace experiences with psychedelic drug experiences."

I'm wondering if Dr Neville Drury is the "Dr Phibes" from the Gary Hughes blog.

Dr Neville Drury died on 15 October 2013.
When was the last "Dr Phibes" post made?

His book also mentioned Ordo Templi Orientis and Golden Dawn IIRC.

They all look pretty whacko to me.
Here is his award winning 1985 film. Apparently some of this was filmed in PERTH and in the Yanchep Caves. I wonder if anyone appearing in this are still around?

Go to the 34 minute mark for the Perth Wiccans.
Then skip to the 1 hour 35 minute mark for the Yanchep Cave group

I wonder if stories of interest include the Claremont Ghost? It'll be interesting to find out when it's brought up in the trial.

Psychic Scott Russell Hill wrote about the CSK murders in 2006:

https://catalogue.nla.gov.au/Record/3695955

“Firstly I felt that a gang of four to five people was preying on young women not only in Claremont but elsewhere in Perth too. I felt that while a man led the gang, one of its members was a woman.

Because of some dysfunctional love, this woman would do anything that was asked of her so that she'd gain her partners affection or approval.

All these people were capable of being violent on their own, or in a premeditated attack.

The energy of these people goes back to the late 1980's or early 1990's.

They've know each other for a while and would now be in their thirties or forties. a couple of the gang members will not have proper alibis.

One of the gang will be a taxi driver, and he and the other people are, or we're most likely based in and around Freemantle. One of them lived not too far from where a body was found in that area.

These people have laid low while police investigations continued, and since then they've been preying on lesser known people such as drug addicts and prostututes....

Secondly there is an energy (separate to the gang) of at least three other men who preyed on women in the Claremont area, working individually without knowledge of the identity of each other. There is a strong sense that all these persons have come under police notice or scrutiny, and continue to be”

Does anyone remember Sylvia Browne, who claimed to solve missing persons and crime cases

There’s more than one video like this so not sure it’s the best. I don’t know how these people hang onto their reputation after instances like this.

In my opinion, psychics are either outright liars or heavily deluded individuals. This is troubling as a friend of a friend claims to be psychic and I cannot see how she fits into either camp. But I can’t for the life of me see a third option.

Psychics are good storytellers and go by their intuition to tell us what we want to hear ( in most cases). Eg .we are going to meet our potential partner in 6 months time.
Or you have people taking DMT and hallucinating wild images.
I don't know how useful a psychic can be with solving crimes.

You only have to look at the data to see the numbers are appalling on psychics solving anything, unless their 'research' has led the psychic to something police do not know about. Not excluding extracting information from forums for the purpose of making money.

So called physics have burst into victims parents homes with advice that has led the family on wild goose chases. Exploiting vulnerable people for money with claims they know. Much of it just general mumbo jumbo.

How many people turned up to the Claremont psychic taskforce presentation? How much were the tickets?
