Melbourne-based Crows fans - The glory days of watching the Crows play with a full house at Billy Bells from 2005-2007 have long gone! (the fun memories remain though!)

What is the best pub to now watch the Crows when they play in Adelaide?

The Mail Exchange on Bourke St wasn't bad last year at times, but is there another pub that Crows supporters go to, that would be good?

London Tavern in Richmond is always a good footy pub, but often too packed to watch the game properly. What other ones?

Considering how few games the Crows play in VIC this year, it could be good fun to arrange a group to watch the game with, when they are outside of Vic.

I have only heard of the Mail Exchange Hotel but haven't been there. Am thinking about it tonight. I'm sure that all the other local hotels will be showing the Richmond match. At least the Mail Exchange Hotel is convenient to the train station.

Mail Exchange has plenty of screens, and has a great setup, however the challenge is ensuring that the Crows game will be shown in full!

I have been there a few times where the Crows will be playing, and then an Essendon/Rich/Cwd game will start at half time of the Crows, and the bartenders are pressured into changing the channel.

My brother and I are both Crows supporters. He bought the Rose in Fitzroy last year and we would love to get some more Crows supporters along to watch the games. We are very outnumbered at the moment! We have lots of big screens and will always play the full games.

Any advice on a good pub to watch the Showdown? Unfortunately the game overlaps with D's v Lions and only just ends before Sainters v Tiges, so a lot of screens will be tuned to those I gather. Will be staying in Melbourne CBD - 206 A'Beckett St, but having lunch at 140 Lygon before the game.

Cheers mate - in the game amazing, or in the casino amazing?
The atmosphere in the casino is unreal. People who dont follow either of the teams will be there watching, shouting and cheering. There will be others there wearing Crows and Port gear, so mingling with them and having a beer is always a blast and makes out to be an interesting 3 hours.

I go to The Rose in Fitzroy to watch Crows games..

normally atleast a few other Crows supporters there - Only time we've been heavily outnumbered was against Richmond last year for the Adelaide Oval game...

Then the next weekend against North Melbourne..... the pub full of the same Richmond supporters going for North in order to get into the finals... no actual North supporters (besides my housemate, haha)

Sounds good.

Cool, got options. Cheers fellas!

Just read a write up on The Rose and apparently its a Lions pub. Have you ever gone there when Crows and Lions games clash?

Fitzroy memorabilia all over the place..

Come to think of it though, I don't think I have been there during a Lions match ....

Biggest crowds in there always seem to be for Richmond games

The sportsbar will be playing the Geelong/North game tonight. Anyone got another place their going to tonight?

The Vic is a great pub in Brunswick. Not a keno screen or tab to be found so it's more of a footy purist vibe with nice beers on tap. 5 or so screens in the venue including a HD projector screen so they've got every game covered.
