Re: Tough man Jonathon Brown is a hair puller

Harry's shameful on field actions! Defending himself (so what did he get from the MRP? They didn't mention the charge or result on Fox News or the AFL website... I'm sorry for being ignorant, but what was he charged with that was so shameful? Was he found guilty?)

Jono Brown found guilty of pulling hair!
Defending himself? You admitted that he instigated the incident by not releasing the tackle, and I provided clear evidence that he made unnecessary and intentional contact to Brown's face prior to the hair-pulling (again, a point you conceded). Just because the MRP has been consistently inconsistent in their decisions doesn't not discount that fact.

Nice troll, but I'm bored of you now.

So in the end lets get this straight.

The umpires on the night awareded a free kick against Brown and then a 50m penalty against Brown.

The MRP have also fined Brown.

None of these people penalised O'Brien in any way.

So if the AFL who adore Brisbane more than anything, felt fit to penalise their star player on multiple occasions, then it must have been pretty bad.

So what charge do you think Harry should have been penalized on during the incident?

Obviously if Jonathon Brown hadn't have flipped out by throwing Harry into the fence and had just waited more than one second while Harry held onto Jono when the ball had been called out of bounds... then a free kick yes.

But Jono didn't show any patience and swung him into the fence = Free Kick.

The umpire asked Brown to stop as he was pushing Harry backwards towards the fence (not exactly something he could stop Harry doing)... Jono didn't let go in time after being told to from the umpire = 50 meter penalty

On review of the incident the MRP would have seen Harry's arm in the vicinity of Jono face... but every man and his dog could see it was in an attempt to push Jonos chest away (as he's being pushed backwards over a fence) = ??? I'm not sure what charge you want him to go for... what do you think he should be charged for?

The MRP would have also seen Brown pull Harry's hair while pushing him into the fence = $1,200/ $900 fine.

What was your issue specifically with this process?

wtf.

I was agreeing with you, ya bloody twit.

I've actually watched the footage and can point out how wrong your description is. Feel free to go back a page or two to where I point out that it was O'Brien who first pushed Brown into the fence, or simply look at the above picture that shows a forearm firmly in Brown's face prior to the hair pulling, which also shows that Brown has his back to the fence so your claim that he was trying to push Brown away whilst pinned to the fence is nonsense.

Sorry mate - I really didn't expect you to think I was attacking you???

Just thought the explanation of free kick, 50 meter and MRP sanction wouldn't go astray on this MASSIVE issue!

So are you saying its legal to ram someones back into the metal picket fence and jam him backward over it? Is this the WWF?

Watch it again. Harry was being rammed into the fence..Brown could have walked away at any time, but he prefered to stay and pull hair like the big girl he is

You are seriously trying to claim that Harry "elbowed" Brown in the face?

Harry elbowed Brown in the face... whilst he was being shoved backwards over a metal picket fence with both of Browns arms around him - Impossible... and classic stuff!

The umpire asked Brown to stop as he was pushing Harry backwards towards the fence (not exactly something he could stop Harry doing)... Jono didn't let go in time after being told to from the umpire = 50 meter penalty

Next time before you carry on, open your other eye. Muppets.

Simply proving you are blind and can post 2 pictures, taken well away from the actual fence pushing bit.
If you actually did watch the video it proves you are fill of shit as well.

I just can't get away from this topic, can I?

You do realise that the two pictures I posted were immediately before the fence pushing bit? Check the clock if you like, I made sure to include it in the images I posted. All I was showing was that 1) O'Brien was the one to first push Brown into the fence and 2) O'Brien was making contact to Brown's face prior to being pushed into the fence.

Which I think those pictures show quite clearly, in contradiction to the claim that:
every man and his dog could see it was in an attempt to push Jonos chest away (as he's being pushed backwards over a fence)
Seeing as he was not pushing Brown's chest, nor was he being pushed backwards over a fence at the time.

So, how exactly am I blind and/or full of shit?

You're taking them to the cleaners, Trjn. :D

I heard Harry's excuse was he was attempting to 'spread the love' right into Browny's eye socket.

To the few Pies supporters having a whinge, get over it and count yourselves lucky that Harry wasn't cited for having his hands in Brown's face.

Live for hope.
