Whilst the act of the hair pulling is certainly juvenile and a bit dumb, really the guys on the field shouldn't have such girly hair to begin with.
Having long hair, particuarly dreadlocks, can impede the playing of the game. They are supposed to be professional footballers, not models. They should act like it.

...all true, my only issue is that players can no longer deck the smarmy little toads that choose to take the low road. Players like Libba walked the fine line between being annoying and getting knocked out.
Now, well now there isn't a damn thing anyone can do about that sort of treatment, except throwing your arms back and appealing to an ump.

You obviously care because you responded, but i ask, did pulling the hair of a player REALLY put them off? Would it be out of confusion more than anything else?
This guy seems to think that the game is becoming so soft we will not be tackling or tacking contested marks, instead pulling each others hair, pinching each other or even lining up for pedicures.
I would question if Harry or Nason have "girly" or "model-esque" hair. Old Cool John Butler, Bob Marley, Michael Franti or the two ghosts from the Matrix 2 would prob be offended at that comment and i doubt you would see them on a cat walk.
As for this one:

As I said in the other thread about this, pulling hair on a footy field is not on. Sure you can expect someone to do it at a pub brawl or a street fight, but it has no palce on the footy field.
