It would be a hard call between Hall, Buddy, Brown and Fev as to who gets the worst protection from the umps.
arm chops, niggles behind play, over-officiated when they get physical....

and i dont think anyone would question Brown as a hard man, least of all in person :rolleyes: always have those 2 grand finals where he tore the pies backline apart to remind us :thumbsu:

1) Your team got five more free kicks for the match.
2) Using a one game sample size to declare J.Brown a protected species is as laughable as your supposedly quality side losing to an injury-depleted list that's in the midst of a five-game losing streak.

To the OP, you obviously missed the part where o'briend had his fingers in brown's eyes hence the hair pulling occured but dont let the facts get in the way of collinwood bias.

I just would have loved to have been that old guy who was lucky enough to be 10cm away from them... Just imagine what the "conversation" between Johno and HoB would be like..

O and Pie fans, anyone checked his twitter? Did he say anything about it?? I dont use twitter and even if I did, would never search up obrien..

Confirmed today the Pies intend to loged a complaint with the AFL.
It's pretty much the same as eye gouging.
Hope they make an example of him.

From what I saw, O'Brien should be the one sighted for putting his hands into JB's face. JB wanted him to stop and was pulling his hair as a way to bring this on.

I thought JB withheld himself well to be honest.

I don't see hair-pulling as a major issue - I'm sure it happens all the time when players scuffle and wrestle.

But because O'Brien, Nason, NicNat etc have extra long hair compared to other players, then it just stands out much more when it happens to them.

Minor issue. Move on.

He probably already regrets it, and most Brisbane supporters probably don't condone it.

Having said that, he pulled hair but it's not like he failed to report a wild ride where someone shot at cops with the same gun that they used to kill an innocent bystander a couple of days later, and after failing to report that incident and lying about being asleep at the time he was selected by his club to play the following week without any sanction at all.

Yes, he pulled hair and it'll probably cost him $900 like it cost Mitchell, but it's not like anyone died.

People are looking at the last hair pull...the one they replayed..... But if you watch the whole section before that point, it gets pulled enough to turn his head.

If he has pulled it a total of three times in the tussle, does that mean he gets three fines of $900 each to equal $2700 ?:p or does it go up exponentially .:confused:...
