I'll wait until I see the jersey's and supporter apparel on offer before I jump for joy, but anything should better than Canterbury. Although I did think their Training Hoodie was nice.

I'm usually a pessimist with this stuff but Puma's AFL apparel seems to typically be pretty damn good, and like you said a lot of the Canterbury stuff was... well the less said the better.

I'd be shocked if the quality and designs didn't significantly improve.

There was nothing wrong with the Canterbury stuff.......OK, they got it wrong with the pinstripes but the quality of the product cannot be faulted. Compared with X-Blades, Bont and Russell Athletic, Canterbury was sensational. But Puma should be a step ahead. Their Richmond range is amazing.

The North Melbourne Kangaroos are delighted to announce a long-term partnership with world-class sport apparel brand, PUMA.

PUMA will be the club’s new on-field and off-field apparel and footwear partner from 2022, supplying the men’s team’s playing and performance apparel, footwear, as well as retail apparel available for fans in The Roo Shop.

Joining some of the world’s most prestigious sporting organisations in partnering with PUMA including international clubs such as Manchester City, AC Milan and Silver Ferns and locally, both the NSW Blues and QLD Maroons, the Kangaroos are set to boast a new standard of quality apparel, both for their players and fans.

As the Roos move into a new era under coach David Noble and continue to introduce their next generation of stars, including Jy Simpkin, Ben McKay, Cam Zurhaar, Luke Davies-Uniacke, Tarryn Thomas, Tom Powell and Will Phillips, the new partnership is the perfect fit for the club.

“PUMA is a world-renowned brand and we’re thrilled to be partnering with them,” North Melbourne Kangaroos CEO Ben Amarfio said.

“We are embarking on a period of growth on and off the field, with the redevelopment of the Arden precinct, last season’s record membership tally, very strong off-field results and a young and exciting list that is starting to show promising signs.

“This is another significant milestone for the club as we embark on the next stage of our journey with our fans and partners.”

General Manager of PUMA Oceania, Pancho Gutstein said the partnership with the North Melbourne Kangaroos was a perfect marriage of organisational values.

“We are very proud to partner with one of the most iconic clubs in the AFL. Their storied history aligns with our own long-standing history in sport and AFL.

“We are excited to begin this journey with the club as it enters a new chapter that is sure to be filled with incredible moments and excitement for their fans.”

The new PUMA range will be available to purchase online and in-store before the start of the 2022 home and away season.

Our 2022 home guernsey is set to be unveiled via the club’s social media channels on Monday, November 8, with an exclusive member pre-sale from November 8-10 in The Roo Shop.
