Gees Murphy Reid played well…he was on our radar…mad tiger supporter family….I guess we needed a few more draft picks
he can come home one day in the future if hes not a spud

Yep…his dad lost it

Ah well can’t have em all
his 4 goals to me looked like a dean polo, marty mcgrath situation more than anything. wasnt sustained great play the ball just kind of fell his way.

A reminder that Carlton have lost 8 of their last 10 games (by an average of around 4 goals) and only beat West Coast (16th) and North (17th) during that time.

It's the equal worst 10 game record over the same time as any other club.

And the last time they played upcoming round 2 opponents Hawthorn in round 22, they were pumped by 74 points, 112 to 38.

Really? As good as it would have been for em if we picked him. Unfortunately only Geelong get gifted things.

One day, the corruption down at the scats will all come out

All political parties have poured millions into their stadium which they can’t fill

Big name players apparently ‘play on much less money simply bc the club is wholesome’…ffs

The place reeks of corruption…it will unfold eventually

Murphy found the ball falling his way a lot at u/18 level. It’s just a skill he has.

Would have loved to get him as a compliment to Lalor and Smillie in the midfield long term, but not complaining with Hotton/Faull instead.

He does not have elite speed and that is something we need given our current midfield. Just had to take Taj over him. Last year it was obvious we needed lead up forwards and given Swans where massively into Jonty we had to take him at 14.

This is a review of the Richmond match by a Carlton tragic but is worth a look, he has a YouTube channel called my blue heaven and he provides very good analysis on oppos teams in his previews worth a subscription if you like that sort of stuff.

My wife and I have known Heath for over 30 years and he has a very astute footy brain. Did special comments at K Rock and other radio jobs in the day and some might remember that he was the centre half forward for Channel 7 reality TV series where they followed a football club called the Hammerheads.

Some of the guys who have been watching Richmond for a very long time at the game we were discussing what Luke did in the second half in particular the third quarter. Heath being as sharp as a tack picked up on it and I think he is the first commentator to mention it( his commentary from a Carlton perspective) those comments about Luke Trainor alone is worth the watch plus the free genuine Carlton tears.

Bucky I can see you are in pain but empathy and sympathy factor zero :p eatem alive tigers

Warning some coarse language.

I’m concerned for a few posters lads. They seem to have gone missing after the preview thread. I hope they’re ok. We know they’ll always be just one loss away from reappearing.
