Nah the holding the ball rule is cooked. We had 76 tackles and I can only remember 1 being paid to us. There probably should have been 10.
There were a few howlers but there were times we were lucky as well just letting the ball bobble out in a tackle or shucking it out in the direction of a player. have watched the game twice and there were only a few wtf moments. which by our standards is a good game.

That's absolutely not what I was saying I don't agree with it all tbh. I think if you take the guys that left out of last year's side, its worse. And if any of those guys remained , you will find they are as rejuvenated as the rest of the list.
It's too easy to point at one thing and say that's why. Ita not just them leaving, it's the young guys coming in creating the feeling of the start of something, it's Yze in his second year taking more control, it's the whole feel of the team changing from end of an era to start of a new one.

Love Lynch but he plays on the edge. One week ban round 1 2025 with the next game in SA anyhow. In a season that we were tipped to not win a game.
bonus for Fawcett. He gets a chance in front of a home crowd. We need to see depth players like him and Gray, to see if they are AFL players

I don't get the outrage over Cripps running through the ruck. Wouldn't have even been mentioned if they won. As long as he's not taking centre bounces, WGAF.
When you have donkey's like SOS jnr and McNuggets and you play your best mid in the ruck you need to think who takes the ball away from the hitout / tap
