That doesn't apply to Richmond. AFL have no duty of care towards Richmond players. Club needs to raise it with worksafe. Evidence is mounting where they don't penalise players who injure Richmond players or protect them appropriately in game with umpire calls. Free kick ladder is evidence as well.
