The slide! Will there be a jumping castle ? I don’t see a jumping castle in the pictures.
Except for the fact that those trains will already be jam packed and nobody will be able to get on when people from a packed train from Pakenham need to get on. It's standing room only at Caulfield for crying out loud and that's where most people will take their chances and try and jump on a Frankston train which is also pretty solid by Bentleigh.frankston, sandy, and pakenham ALL call at South Yarra today - nothing needs to change
you just change platforms, its not that hard
The slide!
The water slide!!

It's so very very different from going into work when most of the people on the train continue through to the city but on a big sports day in the Richmond sports precinct when most of the train empties at Richmond station it is going to be a mess unless they have a connecting train at South Yarra that is empty.
So you want people to overshoot the runway and work their way back adding to travel time to what is a 3 minute gap from SY to Richmond. Wouldn't want to be running late would you.Complete shit
Sandy line is rarely busy
Also if you don't want to switch at South Yarra, switch at town Hall and get the tram or Flinders Street trains (like everyone from the west and north already do
You will have the best line in the state, yet it's not enough?
No doubt the club is probably thinking of a way to sell it brick by brick to us. $$$$$Relocate the Jack Dyer stand to Fed Square, glass it in and it can be our new super store.
Who needs Apple.

It will be a mess especially when the following trains empty adding to those stranded on the platform because they are unable to get on a train.
A train line bypassing Richmond station on a sports day when it has gone through that station forever and a day will cause nothing but disaster.
People from the west/north have connecting empty trains to choose from on weekends less so for friday nights, same as people from the east/south heading to Marvel.
Having a train line bypass a major sports station for the people in the east/south would be like those from the west/north having their train veer off at North Melbourne and bypass Southern Cross for events at Marvel. Brainless stupidity.

It is bypassing, a train that has gone through Richmond will now be bypassing Richmond and going straight to the loop from South Yarra. It's not bypassing, it's going nowhere near it. How did you want them to connect to Domain station?
It has some type of heritage protection as far as I know, no doubt be relocated. Criminal if it wasn'tNo doubt the club is probably thinking of a way to sell it brick by brick to us. $$$$$

It's a bad idea for sports goers who want to exit at the Richmond sports precinct, those who want to travel on into the city or even further wont care but for those events in Richmond it is a bad idea to bypass Richmond station when the majority of the train is for that station.
$60 million.
$30 million could develop a greenfields site in the outer suburbs for the women's teams.
$30 million for academies at Punt Road, preserve our heritage stand.
No way known a senior NFL team would accept a combined site with cramped conditions like this.
Umm that's exactly what it is, you are bypassing Richmond Station to get to the city, that's what bypass means. To go round or take a different route. You will no longer go near Richmond, you're not bypassing it. It goes South Yarra to Anzac (domain) to town hall. Your line will no longer go in the city loop, because that's they whole point of this - the city loop cannot handle any more trains
If you want more trains on the Pakenham line, you have to take it out of the loop. Doing this makes using Richmond unviable, as you need to tunnel under the citylink tunnel to get to stkilda road.
Is that expense worth it to save you changing one train?

: bypassing
- go past or round.
"bypass the farm and continue to the road"
synonyms:go round, go past, make a detour round, pass round;
avoid, keep out of, don't go near
"bypass the farm and continue to the road"
Will the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines still go via South Yarra with Metro Tunnel ? Or do they divert to Anzac and Town Hall and "bypass" South Yarra and Richmond stations ?
