Personally I would like the Eskimo Joe song that didn't get up for the official theme song to be played before the bounce, at least it had a bit of oomph and you could sing along to it.

Yeah would have to be Long Way to the Top. Ne’er a truer word spoken about Freo. Also, still maintains the close Bon Scott association.

Walking around the stadium on Saturday watching people’s faces when the Purple Rain countdown came on, all I saw was cringing and discomfort. The song may have some symbolism, but it is completely the wrong tune to be building up excitement for a game.

Personally, I wouldn’t be opposed to more AC/DC, but that’s just the old bogan in me.

Sorry marketing folks, but I reckon this one is a bust.

Seen them on the Vans Warped Tour. Pretty solid sound. I like them, Bad Religion and Pennywise.

Still the heavier the better for a club song. You don't want some drab chorus.

Great song, but not as a pump up tune before bounce down. It's also pretty lame with the siren breaking in every time.

I walked an hour to the MCG on grand final day listening to Started From The Bottom by Drake on repeat. This tune would have worked as well.
