Yeah and my grandma is fit for a 90 year old woman... but can I have a 3rd tall please?

Medhurst is a strong overhead mark.

Reid Brown Maxwell Fraser Buckley Rusling Anthony Goldsack Bryan and Cox are all capable, either now or in the future, of playing this role. If we cant get one of these to play half forward flank successfully I'd be shocked.

Dont get your knickers in a knot about it - its hardly in insurmountable problem. Its solved with rotations.

Thats all well and good for the future but Maxwell is not the answer forward so a simple swap of him and Cox would be an interesting experiment

Let him ease into the game down back where the ball can come to him rather than playing up forward which these days is a tough gig. I like his athleticism and run in this possie.

Has the potential to be able to swung into attack, but would like to see him establish himself as a dashing half back first for a good 50-100 games

Gonna get crowded down there when Goldsack Anthony and Brown come in seeing as we cant squeeze Maxwell or Wakes back there now

Id like to see O'brien given a go in the centre.
Am I crazy?

No you're not his a natural runner and could create some creative spark in the Centre. Although he did played superbly against Lucas he is primed to be an attacking/evasive back flanker. His learning from the best at the moment e.g Clement, Presti and is slowly but surely will be a good player for us in future years.

Toovey has looked more likely than Cox as a fwd surely, (yeah I know less than 8 games total between em) it is getting crowded isn't it? H Shaw wing? Have said otherwise in past, but that was before a couple of good games from these youngsters. Will wait on the whole H Shaw wing ding thing I think.

Well right now I reckon we are short of a tallish forward because we lost Rusling who was going to be that 3rd option and Maxwell is just not cutting it for me, If Cox can play forward he just seems the perfect size and mobility for the specialist tall flank, he's actually 1 cm taller than Rusling at 191cms
Definately agree about Maxwell, more poise needed for forward line. Last thing needed is another unreliable kick down there. But Cox probably also needs time to grow into that role, is he as good a kick as Rusling?
