put moderator to another vote...its up to you dodongo

so long as dodongo is happy to do so, how about we re-vote the moderator. even though dodongo won fair and square, it was unethical the way in which the current moderator was chosen.

john howard has been involved in more elections than anyone on this board, so i think he is the person most qualified to oversee the poll.

what do you all think about a proper election on this board. how about it you fruitcakes and knobby nuts.....lets hold a moderator election, and people can campaign like joshy boy did last week.

Why not let Danni remain as moderator for a while. I think she's already done a reasonable job in shutting down the nonsense posts.

Why change the moderator now? Danni hasn't even had a chance to do anything yet!

Seeing you know so much about elections, Ghost, you'd know that often there is a set term that a leader/party remains in power. Unless the party/leader in power calls a double-disillusion, then usually they remain in session for the entirity of that term.

My only issue (and this isn't with the moderator, anyway), is why our board can't be called the "Brisbane Lions Board". After all, it can't be 'that' hard for someone to add the 'Lions' bit in there can it?

Perhaps after Danni's term is up, we could have a proper election - an issue based election.

My policies will consist of cutting down on nonsense posts, as well as campaigning to have our board renamed as the "Brisbane Lions Board"!!!!

Peter, you are repeating the point i expressed in an earlier post. Once your voted in it is for a term. I then said dodongo should be in office for the next 4 years. But the knobby nuts would not allow it. danni was not voted in, except by herself. If dodongo is not moderator, put it to another vote.

What is it with this maverick character from the lions forum anyway. i have already told you i am maverick. dont you beleive me or something. ask maverick yourself, or are you scared he will go off his rocker like he did last time. maybe it is best he not be told. I saw his reaction last time.

I realise this is a sensitive topic for passionate people, as all Lions supporters are, however I think we need to look at this rationally.

The reason Danni became moderator was because she was the only person from this board with the guts and dedication to approach Bluey regarding the nonsense posts. My understanding that it was Bluey's decision and choice and lets face it we are not on a democratic forum, this is a moderated forum for a reason.

I personally support Bluey and his decisions, including appointing Danni. Did Dodongo approach Bluey ? How many footy oriented posts does Dodongo do ? No offense intended here Dodongo just trying to see both sides of a story.

Lets give Danni a go, on the sole promise that she will not wear any clothes from the Pauline Please Explain range. Because I personally will blow up her puter thus negating her moderator duties if she does.
