Oh okay, so your issue is with women and/or of colour being selected as a People Panelist or they are selected more than ordinary white folk, is that right?

Try this link you may get on and make your point about it.
https://www.abc.net.au/qanda/peoples-panel/

Q&A is looking for smart citizens who are keen to tackle the big questions behind the big desk, alongside our panellists and host, Tony Jones.

Send us a 1 minute audition video to tell us why you would be good on the Q&A panel. Explain why you think you’d do well going head-to-head with our politicians and the big issues you would highlight.
I’ve made it pretty clear what my issue is. I have no problem with women of colour being a people’s panelist. My issue is that other demographics aren’t getting an opportunity to become the people’s panelist. I don’t think 6 of the last 7 being women of colour sufficiently represents society as a collective. If they want to have a panelist spot for that particular demographic than label it as such. Don’t dress it up as if you’re doing a service for the common people and giving them a voice.

I just find it amazing that you noticed, that's all.

You're concerned about non-white women being featured.

Why don't you have a concern about the over-representation of politicians (disproportionately white and male)?

Enough with your strawman arguments and completely fabricating something to argue because you just ended up with egg all over your face.

I don't watch to see the make up of the panel to see who is female and/or of colour. More interested in what they say.
Neither do I. But that doesn’t mean I don’t notice a pattern when it slaps me in the face.

Certainly would slap you in the face if you are looking for it.

Seeing your list I would never have guessed but then again, that is not what I look at when watching a program.

I am more interested in what is being discussed and love reading the twitter comments on the bottom.

Oh you’re so inclusive and delightful for not noticing the ABC’s apparent preference to fill the people’s panelist position with a female of colour. Well done Maggie!

Is that what you’re looking for from this engagement?

Why, because 6 out of hundreds of panelists are non-white women?

You have no concern when white men are over-represented. It's identity politics you're playing.
Again. You continue to pull hundreds out of your ass, when it’s been stated multiple times now that it’s 6 out of the last 7 people’s panelists. Your inability to accept facts when it doesn’t suit your narrative is an all too common theme on here. At least you provide comedic value to the board.

Why is it you have no qualms when groups other than non-white women are 'over' represented?

I don't play games. I am genuinely surprised at what you picked up.
Happy to leave it here.

Sisonke Msimang’s defence of Winnie Mandela tonight is a disgrace. Basically shrugged off her atrocities because “oThEr PeOpLe WeRe KiLlInG tOo” and said the murders and violation of human rights shouldn’t define her.

What an absolute disgrace of a panelist.

lol. I just realised that FP was complaining about Marcia Langton (an Indigenous woman) was allowed to speak too long last week. And that a black woman is too radical for tonight. And that too many 'poeple's panelists' are non white women.
keep going with those racist identity politics kidd. we all know you love them.

funny thing is the same peopme who will be lauding her would be the same who would be out to get someone like neil erickson if he made similar comments.

Nobody from the radical left will bat an eyelid at the comment. In fact, like we’ve seen tonight on here, some will even shamefully defend her.

Cmon now. All you can show is a deep desire to not see black woman in political discussions.

She has acknowledged that Winnie has endorsed violence and needs to be held accountable, but she doesn't want scumbags like De Clerk to be lionised.

Barnsey acknowledged he's a socialist tonight. Have a crack at him. No?
