umm i dont want to start anything but i just wanted to bring it to every1's attention that says Richo cant kick straight, sure he has missed some very easy shots but every1 has, Richo just does it more often....
anywayz feel free to correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure i read somewhere that of all current day players Richo has either the best or 2nd best accuracy ratio for shots at goal career wise that is.....i think its like high 50% or low 60%.
once again please if any1 knows what the stat was, please post as im not 100% on the specifics.

Yet Richo also scores more 50+, 55+ shots than almost anyone else going around.

He is not the best kick but a several easy misses that stick in your mind make him seem worse than he is overall.

Infact, his goals/points stats are actully quite good, more so if you consiter how many goals his kicked.

yeh bents the goals to points ratio was the 1 i was thinking of where im pretty sure his average is the best of current day players.

knew i was along the line but just couldn't remember exact.

Fact is if richo kicked straight "This Season" then this post would not have happened, nobody is comparing careers averages because there is nothing to compare.

In 18 games this year Richo Kicked 45 40 where in 22 games Lynch kicked 50 33.

Richo ave. 2.5g 2.2p
Lynch ave. 2.2g 1.5p

WHats really stupid is comparing a guy at the end of his career to a guy at the start of 1. Maybe a better Poll would be, Lynch or Tarrant considering the rumours of Tarrant's move West.

Richardson kicked 91 goals in a season when he was 21, and we still didn't make the finals, has Lynch done that? Didn't think so.

Also, Richardson has proved his worth over a long time (decade of playing well). This is Lynch's first really good season. He kicked 60 goals in a great side, Richo kicked 40 goals in an average side while being injured for parts of the season.

Lynch has been delivered the ball on a silver plattter, while Richo has had Biddescomes and Fionas passing the ball to him, bit of a difference. I know it has been said but if Richo had the delivery of Cousins, Judd and Kerr, he would kick 100+ goals.

Plus, Richo is more versatile, can play CHF, FF, Lynch is limited, and isn't as good a mark as Richardson. At Lynch's age now, Richardson was taking pack marks over four or five guys.

It's been done, very vigorous debate too, not sure if it was on the polls board though

Richo's the better player, Lynch has better supply, Richo would've killed for a class midfield through his career

Are you asking from now, or from the start of their careers?

Richo has had a Champion career, but without others around him, he's never had the success that a player of his caliber would ordinarily get.

With a class midfield around him for his whole career, he might have 900+ goals around about now.

The question was Who would you rather?

Whether your decision is based on the entire career or the form they're in at present is up to you.
