BTW, plenty of plodders own premiership medallions.......including Lynch.

I'm not totally against it. How old is he? If he was very cheap then why not. Adds a big body down forward to feed the little blokes, can lead up well, has a big tank. Not an overly reliable kick.

Interesting sort of player. .Almost certain we would be one of the clubs looking at Lynch. I for one would be all for recruiting him as long as we don't have to give up a hell of a lot. Booming kick and a great lead up option could compliment our young midfielders.

Dont think there is any need for Lynch tbh.

Carlton have an abundance of talls they can put up forward who could make as big an impact as Lynch could. Names like Kreuzer, Hampson, Jacobs, oHailpin or Warnock.

Warnock and Hampson both showed promise last week and are stil lrelatively young, while Kreuzer has proven to be a valuable forward. Hampson and Jacobs are a bit iffy, but have shown signs.

So a big no to Lynch.

Lynch is an absolute truck. I don't want to watch him play at any team, let alone ours. The only reasons he's got a few games over this way is because:
a) our list is that underdeveloped/crap at this stage, and
b) I suspect the club is trying to raise his trade value

I'm unsure if point B has worked. Maybe West Coast should employ a PR team, get him using trendy, youth focused social media and draw a 3rd rounder out of GC for him.

WC should try him from kick outs. Probably would score more often than not

Because he is better than what you've got. The problem with WC is their midfield. If they had a semi decent midfield Lynch would be doing alright. A bit hard for a forward when the ball is kicked over their head or to the defenders advantage every time unless you're a superstar (LeCras). Both Mckinley and Kennedy struggled this year too.

not against it but i wouldn't expect a mountain of success. i've seen games where WC have had him stuffing around in the ruck...? i'm not surprised he looked like shit.

chris johnson struggled to get a game with melbourne if we remember... now a few of us sing his praises, so i don't know how that is much of an argument.

anyway would be very much a mckernan deal which is who he reminds me of... would do ok but we've probably moved on and most fans expect us to recruit only stars or potential stars.

Perhaps it's a little insight into the gulf between what Weagleland supporters think of their players and reality.

Anyway Lynch is a hack, perfectly suited to a regional rabble like Weagleland. Can't see the point in shopping him around for draft picks, because even if you got a draft pick you'd stuff the choice up anyway. Despite all the tanking the Weagles have done over the past few years, it's just amazing how they've been squandered on poor choices.

WC has many issues. One of which is their supporter base criminally overrating their list.

I laugh every time I venture onto the draft & trades board and the WC board to see another WC moron overrate a player by about 2 rounds of the National Draft.

AFL clubs have been told that Quinten is up for trade. Upon hearing this Carlton asked their Captain about his ex-teamate to which Judd stated it would be a worthwile path to go down. With that in mind, Carlton will consider taking Quinten in this years trade period, if i cannot land other desired players.

He's a dud. Can't believe we're even considdering him.
