Freeman for 1/2 of Aisho is looking a better and better deal all he time, even though Aisho hasn't played a game for us.

Imagine the outrage on this board if Freeman had stayed with us and still hadn't overcome the hammy injuries. Delorean would be strung up by his clackers.

Can't blame them for taking a punt on getting him right, although a (likely) early second round pick in what's been touted as a very strong draft was a steep price to pay given the risk involved. Still surprises me that they didn't try harder to secure him for a 2015 second.
Agreed. They were blinded by potential and ignored reality. I would have left him at the Pies. Let him get on the field first and prove himself.
So far the gamble hasn't paid off.

Hahah holy shit, old mate Adam H has made a thread:
Great to see our medical and fitness staff giving this kid every chance of preparing for his career the correct way. He isnt an instant fix and most of his issues with his hammies are to to poor fitness and conditioning at his previous club. We unlike the other mob will need to be patient and hold Freeman back until he ticks all the boxes and then ticks them again.

Yes it wont please the average forum folk and it will bring joy to Filth supporters as the wish his demise but slow and steady wins the race. Watching a fully fit Freeman for years to come will give me a hell of a lot more joy than a quick burst in this years NAB CUP.
Apparently not playing the kid for two full years whilst trying to get his hammy's right constitutes being impatient and not holding him back.

Genuinely pissing myself now, not because of Nates misfortune, but because of the absolute delusion surrounding saints supporters in their belief that we tried to rush him in his rehab...

Yep. All our fault. I heard that narrative before somewhere. Probably will be hearing it for a long time too, especially if we can't the Berg on the field.
Anyway good luck to them building towards the future with chronically injured and banned players.

Don't know what all the drama is about. Half this board bitches about our incompetent fitness and medical staff, but when someone from another club says the same thing it is appalling behaviour.

Stop being so precious ladies. (With apologies to the superior sex)

Yeah guys stop acting like women, stop acting like girls.

You guys are acting like females... TOUGHEN UP!!!

(with apologies to females who are far superior to us in every way, because that statement excuses casual sexism)
