Try half that less the cost of sales so approx a $8k profit possibly. Remember a lot of the crowd is kids.
There's a fee associated with council looking after your grounds - its not done out of the goodness of council hearts!
It's amazing Noosa finished on the bottom of the ladder with that logic Miller...![]()
$8k profit, nothing to sneeze at! Per game, that would be bloody nice I'm sure plenty would agree
what is the fee? Don't think the GC clubs pay a fee.
Not really. Underestimated the step up, a few key injuries etc. Finance have hardly ever been an issue for Noosa, great club, run a ripping PResidents lunch and I'm sure they will be very competitive this year.

Spot on 2010 - its madness if it is assumed that the council spend a small fortune on upkeeping a facility without getting a return back on. I may be wrong but think that Maroochy pay $20k+ / year - Bud might know better than me. Not sure if the club pays for line marking like premier said.GC clubs pay rates and right of use fees to GCCC around 15k that covers ground maintenance . water and line marking also paid for by clubs and at the cats we are doing the the mowing also.
So no doubt the GC clubs get a leg up on ground maintenance but it’s not to the extent that some believe.
There are advantages the other way also with Brisbane being 2 million population vs 500k.
And some clubs have pokie revenue others don’t.
Who were the key injuries out of interest??$8k profit, nothing to sneeze at! Per game, that would be bloody nice I'm sure plenty would agree

Back approx 6 years ago we paid $10/$11k pa so it would be $15+k now I would think. Its a good deal considering the Council pay for water, lights, improvements and ground maintenance. Club did line marking. Can be inconvenient with other participants using it particularly when up to 6 AFL clubs did a preseason camp and now womens games held there. Overall its way better than the alternative.Spot on 2010 - its madness if it is assumed that the council spend a small fortune on upkeeping a facility without getting a return back on. To assume that a GC or SC club has a major advantage over recruiting players is silly. Bottom line is it revolves around $$ willing to part with and the GC clubs have that in spades right now (aside from SP). I am going to say that maroochy would probably spend the cap but there isn't a lot left over as far as profit goes. Lets just say there isn't 11 blokes walking into the club from NT / VFL right now.
trend is they last a few weeks and call it quits and go back home to DarwinSee where Grange have announced another Nightcliffe player. Who knows how many that is now. Hope the club goes well this season and not lose too many of their up and coming juniors. Also wonder if these players can handle continual football - especially playing finals in Darwin.
They all can’t play every week as they are all 4 pointers but better to get them in and see what happens. Only problem might be these blokes aren’t coming to play 2s and the points system in Darwin is different to down here. But we’ll done to Beamer he has put the work in for a few years.See where Grange have announced another Nightcliffe player. Who knows how many that is now. Perko is blowing up about Grange getting all the players. The one that really hurts him is M Payne leaving and let’s be honest he might need to get off his ass and do some work to get some players. Let’s be honest he never helped Northside footy while Aspley played NEAFLCan someone a liittle in the know give us info on how Aspley is situated
Not sure the former was a key injury - his heart was never in it once it looked like the side was going backwards. Stack a solid footballer.Probably referring to Meredith and stack.Played 51 players through the seniors due to injuries however were never ready IMO to step up.Reckon we are ready now! Be extremely fit and far more competitive.
$15k per annum for 3-4 full sized ovals, fully maintained including water charges and lights?
thats better than anyone could even imagine!
thats actually unbelievable, possibly even better than the GC clubs
Lights aren't included anymore - the ovals are hired by the night rather than a flat fee$15k per annum for 3-4 full sized ovals, fully maintained including water charges and lights?

Labrador's younger brigade of recruits from Traralgon (Vic) are going under the radar, think they will impress you all
Yeah agree goalkicker well done to Beama and Grange. From all reports the boys from Nightcliff can play but are coming into a stronger comp being the qafl in 2022.Grange have had little to no success whatsoever over the past few years and sometimes enough is enough. The development argument for whatever reason runs its race! The club is judged by the performances of its senior men,it’s been like that for 150 years so pretty important they go ok I reckon!

Grange have done well recruiting wise, not sure the list stacks up against Aspley though - who obviously had to lose talent rather than recruit anymore. Yet despite that added Joseph and Allen to their list !Perko is blowing up about Grange getting all the players. Wishing you all the best with the flash flooding thommo. Also to any other clubs that are near flooding zonesGrange have done well recruiting wise, not sure the list stacks up against Aspley though - who obviously had to lose talent rather than recruit anymore. Don't think the recruitment of Joseph can be underestimated, only bloke other than Matt Payne to win an Aspley B&F in the last thousand years, haha.
Remember one club is dropping from the VFL the other is rising from 10th on the ladder - they might meet in the middle, but I won't be crying for the Hornets
