Pretty handy player Offermans apparently his work situation changed so he decided to remain in QLD.

Heard he spoke to a few clubs before signing with Redland, not sure why him and others leaving Labrador but tipping it’ll be a pretty tough year for the Tigers

They must be signing a few as Noosas Curtis McCarthy(brother of Lincoln) signed also.Good for a points reduction(which I reckon is garbage) but just wonder how often we will have him

Lab have lost a few handy players. Offerman, Anderson, Goldsmith, Simpson and Foon all out the door. Rumour is Lab won’t transfer Simpson so plenty to play out with that one

Hornets will be competitive again, if anything a slight drop off I’d of thought … more of a 3-6 side than a 1 to 3 I reckon … bit worried about their height (or lack there of)

What 3 sides do you have above Aspley??? Have recruited well again and have arguably the most balanced list in the competition.

Yep agree but I reckon Morningside and Palmy will trump them

With the footy season approaching, I've been tinkering away at my AFL Fantasy team, which got me thinking - if I were to pick players from the QAFL, who would make the cut for the 2025 season?

Top 10 (in no particular order):
1. Aiden Fyfe (Lab)
2. Will Fletcher (Sher)
3. Liam Dawson (Asp)
4. Riley Bowman (Bro)
5. Jack Rolls (Vic)
6. Mitch Conn (Noo)
7. Tom Simpson (?)
8. Ryan Banks-Smith (Asp)
9. Tom Horne (Mor)
10. Ben Woodburn (Sur)

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts/own interpretations!

Some genuine quality there Boops! That Fletcher from Sherwood is a star in a side that doesn’t win all the time!
I’d be adding Benson from Palmy(whose the best player in the GFL) and should immediately mark a mark.Also Scaglarini from Palmy ex Mt Eliza Premiership captain from the MPNFL and also Wagner and Govan from the Green Slime,just so consistent.I reckon Nicklaus from Broady would pick himself as would Palmy champion Thynne!

Agree with that mate but think Redlands will struggle this year. Have lost some key personnel and think last year was their fairytale run. Only time will tell…

Agree though, whoever takes kickouts for Vultures would be a supercoach king if he hits targets!

As I commented before,, Palmy recruit big names and in pre sesaon we are all saying they are the ones to be right up there ,,well they have been close but in no way looked like flag material ,, IMO they have to much gap in their list ,, eg, got 3 guns next 5 or 6 are very good and then the depth drops away ... anyway just my opinion ,,

Reckon if Hickey didn't go down they were minimum making the PRelim last year

Palmy been a very strong contending club for well over two decades.Since our rivalry during the old Pineapple Hotel Cup I can tell you Noosa have nothing but respect for the way they go about it. A well run,’blue collar’ like footy club who you definitely knew you had played! They will once again be there when the whips are cracking!

Why is Dan Annabelle rated so highly?

He’s a superstar. Should certainly be drafted. I would expect quite a few Qlders to be drafted this year. Under17s beat Vic Metro comfortably and Lions were Div 2 Under 16 Champions for that age group.
