surprised they had him in their best, but he had a great last quarter when the game was on the line.

Where do SP tend to get their players from? Juniors or recruiting? Just seem to do things very well and very quietly. Always competitive now after a lean period post pineapple cup phase.
Good on them. It’s a tough market on the GC.

I recall in 2019 when they won the flag, they did it with 29 player points out of 50. So a strong junior base then!

think they had like 6 blokes from u8s and multiple players who had parents play there, was a great story.

These days, seem to have a good vic recruiting network if you look at the pickups in the last 2 years from GFL, GVFL and O&M

So do I Mobbs but I keep picking Noosa! I’m actually gonna stick with them too as they have improved heaps.
Another great physical game against Aspley on the weekend with our young boys again standing up! Just getting jumped at the start which is a bit of a worry! Redlands another massive test this week at home

Well I was doing better when Grange were winning about 50% to 60% of their matches

I guess my tipping will also be going through a "rebuilding phase". Though folks who were kind of in and out of the action in previous years (eg Mifsud - or Misfud as the commentary team would have us believe!) are now starting to make much larger impacts and can be a joy to watch.

Got within a few points of Labrador towards the end but they were able to kick away.

Forgot about the tips cos I'm not using browser not app for mobile Bigfooty and I the notifications aren't working like they used to.

I'll do better Unspoken Brizz I promise! (At submitting tips, not at getting them right)

brought in players to the worst club in queensland, looking competitive once again.

he went from having a group of 18-year-old kids last year to showing signs of growth is impressive especially when everyone is doubting him.

Probably wont win a game for a bit longer either but atleast they are showing promising signs. against coorparoo on saturday they won every stat against them in the third quater once they started rolling

very promising signs at the vultures especially with their younger kids like Fletcher Clare, Michael Gordon ect ect.

Idk man, he was presented a playing list last year who would have come mid table in div 2 and a ressies team who couldn't even fill 22. Now, just a year later, they pulled up 17 points short of coops, 20 of Noosa, and ressies are arguably containing for finals: all while dealing with key issues such as the negative publicity of last year and already loosing their vc jack james for the year.

i agree, ressies team is so good and easily competeing for finals, give the seniors time and they will bounce back and that wasnt there strongest team only uisng 38/50 player points, few to come back from injury later in the season too.

Also heard reports that they have rebuilt their culture. Never forget the end of 2023 when the likes of Licht and Leahy showed up for a beer and watched over training right after the implosion of the playing group. They needed to rebuild off-field.

Still believe dropping down will kill the club. Will turn into a Zilmere station IMO.

Thrashings of 70 odd in both seniors and ressies against UQ (who are undefeated) in preseason show they are still a level above div 1.

Last 3 years the highest level he has played is QAFL and there is no competing club penalty or any other penalty.
