Given he took over and they have won 9 in a row, you would have to think he has opted out. Otherwise surely you know you're on a winner with those results!

You could be right, it’s an impressive performance in a short period and you’d reckon he’d be lead candidate however the club should always explore all options, even if just for optics.Given he took over and they have won 9 in a row, you would have to think he has opted out. I reckon there has been a change of tack at Broady.
They have been playing with an average of 36 points since the coach was punted.
Lots of talented young fellas getting senior games under their belt in the last half of the season.
The last few games they have been without both of their senior rucks due to VFL duties also.
Broady have a few of the top teams looking over their shoulders, but Surfers playing good footy at the right time of year for m
Smy ,,, I dont know what the go is here . 2010 Premier would have more knowl;edge here on the clubs approachSaw they advertised for a new coach for 2026 stuyd. Surely the incumbent would be a show or doesn’t he want to do it? Has obv done really well since taking over

Incorrect. He’s applied. Spoke to him Saturday. He understands they have to go through process to ensure they have the best candidate.Given he took over and they have won 9 in a row, you would have to think he has opted out. Otherwise surely you know you're on a winner with those results!
Why Baz?? he's proven - anyone else that is appointed isn't. Not with this group of players anyway. Clubs love to bang on about "going through the process" but pretty sure Sydney swans didn't interview anyone at the end of 2002 when they knew Roos was the man. Sometimes you can look so hard you tangle yourself in knots. The group obviously like playing for him, why look outside of him?Incorrect. He’s applied. Spoke to him Saturday. I think taking a slow hand is the right play. If he’s the best candidate, and recent results definitely give him plenty of brownie points, then he’ll get the job.Why Baz?? he's proven - anyone else that is appointed isn't. Yeah not sure LB - often having security of tenure is a good thing for all parties if you know you have the right person. Could be already looking at next year and possible players around. Stability etc.I think taking a slow hand is the right play. If he’s the best candidate, and recent results definitely give him plenty of brownie points, then he’ll get the job.
I acknowledge all that SMY and I don’t disagree as he has a sound record now. However I’d bet that when he took the role as caretaker for the remainder of the year it was on the basis that the club would advertise, and he could apply at that stage using his performance as his performance.Yeah not sure LB - often having security of tenure is a good thing for all parties if you know you have the right person. When you go hunting for "someone better" well that is in potential only versus real time data. Playing groups are unique - what works for one group won't work for another. This hasn't been a 4 game trial - it's been a substantial sample size.
You might be right - he will get the job in the end. Hope he does because he has turned the season around for Cats even though some personnel added might have been a good reason too.
Yea that's my point too Miller..Process for the sake of process. Can tangle yourself in a knot sometimes when the answer is staring you in the face.
Lots of talk about Kalani White this year, and if he was available to play, do you reckon he would be in the Broady seniors? He seems to getting focus as a prospect rather than actual ability right now
