for those of you that have been around for years there is a gun player and most decorated Northern Territory player ever be it Cameron Illet ,,,well I ve just found out he is still playing at 41 years of age for Tongala in the Murray league ,, a strong comp not Ovens and Murray level etc but a comp that's much stronger then the minor comps ...and to add he's been named in the best players most weeks ,,, unreal effort

Watched this bloke a bit back in the day. He played NEAFL for NT Thunder.

Was another like Matt Payne - too good for state league and didn’t get picked up for the AFL!

From memory, he was in the defence force team too.

Very bloody good footy player.

Just looked up cam ilett play hq he’s played a lazy 654 games. I’m going out on a limb and suggesting that’s some kind of record.

And by the way that’s senior games , his junior matches aren’t on there, so probably more than 800 all up. That’s pretty crazy.

Was of course doing NTFL into NT Thunder for several years potentially 35-40 matches per year

Nearly lost his leg. so sad.

Hope he makes a solid recovery and can play again, but even just getting good function back sounds like it might be a win.
