These things are never very nuanced. He gets in because he hit the scoreboard. He doesn't get a stat for being a momentum killer.

We need someone who can get more than 20 touches a week in the midfield consistentlyCrows were slow, and Oliver is slow. You don’t need anymore bruise free players
Ball in hand, he was very good
Elliott got off the chain though, Max really should’ve been the matchup on him
Well it was stupid wasn't it?? Did you not see the media circus the last two weeks??
Did people honestly think booing the player that the homophobic slur was said to makes our club and supporter look good?? It bloody doesn't it and it's embarrassing.

Disagree with this. However we do need to find a better chant, I think. Was there at the game a few weeks ago against the Maggots, every time the twats in the crowd around me tried starting the chant I joined in with ‘Colllllliiiiwobbbles’. Shut them up pretty quick.Ugly: Crows fans booing whenever the Collingwood chant started. It sounded weird and dumb. Cheer your own team, don't boo the opponents for cheering theirs!
Maynard slammed ANB into the ground after he gave away a free kick. Keays got fired up after it.What was the deal with keays and Maynard after the siren?
I have been a doubter, but he was good tonightSo can Hugh Bond he was very good given his very limited exposure to the top level especially his composure, decision making and disposal was way way better than a lot of our far more experienced players. His hard work on his kicking over the pre0season is very noticeable now.
Oliver bangs down walls not opponentsWe need someone who can get more than 20 touches a week in the midfield consistently
He wasn't on Elliott for a chunk of the game though, Worrell was on him as well.Ball in hand, he was very good

I hate to say it, but TT cost us big time.
Cost us 2 goals directly on the half back line and missed another hand balling to Keays.
Not helped by doing things like drafting mids like Charlie Edwards, turning them into back flankers and then saying we have no spots to play him.I said at the start of the season, we have a top 4 list with a bottom 4 coach - but individual brilliance will win us games we should've lost.
Today just confirmed that, again.
If we had McRae as coach, we'd be almost unbeatable.
Our midfield has been thin all year - we have done nothing to address it, and when it matters, we won't be able to.
We also have a number of flat track bullies.
Bonds selection had a bit of Andy Otten 2017 about itSo can Hugh Bond he was very good given his very limited exposure to the top level especially his composure, decision making and disposal was way way better than a lot of our far more experienced players. What?? Dawson was not great tonight, but he has had a very good year.He hasn’t been good all year. None of our mids have been good all year. Even Dawson, despite all the aa captain and Brownlow talk, has not been good all year. None of our mids has been good all year. We don’t have any really good mids. Daicos, Bont, Anderson, Heeney. Those are good mids.
Seemed like he mis timed his jumping all night. Was strange. Although our delivery tonight was mostly shithouse. It was such a bizarre game from him. So many times he pulled out of contests, simply didn’t go when he needed to and there was one time where he just stopped and turned his back on the ball thinking it was dead… and it wasn’t. Hopefully he’s better for the experience but jeez, his performance was a real head scratcher.
This has also helped me in life.Good
A lifetime of supporting the Crows has left me immunised against disappointment.

Thilthorpe was pretty good in the ruck I thought. Just absolutely useless as a forward.
Not to say I told you so but anyone who knows footy could see that win a few weeks ago was a Pyrrhic victory that was going to cost us a finals win against them.
We played all our cards that night, the only ones we had.
We need a gun mid. It’s staring you in the face.Strewth now I've heard it all now.
Does anyone even want to watch this club for the rest of the year?
Done.
In fairness Edwards was drafted as a midfielder/forward but can't recall him ever being played forward since we drafted him.Not helped by doing things like drafting mids like Charlie Edwards, turning them into back flankers and then saying we have no spots to play him.
Dawson certainly went missingHe hasn’t been good all year. None of our mids have been good all year. Even Dawson, despite all the aa captain and Brownlow talk, has not been good all year.
