Ball in hand, he was very good

Elliott got off the chain though, Max really should’ve been the matchup on him

He's a good backup, in the same way Jordon Butts is a good backup

We can't play him and Michalanney in the same side. And it's stupid to do so

Well it was stupid wasn't it?? Did you not see the media circus the last two weeks??

Did people honestly think booing the player that the homophobic slur was said to makes our club and supporter look good?? It bloody doesn't it and it's embarrassing.

Couldn't care less about that.

Rankine was a dumbarse and has been punished insanely disproportionately; Collingwood players who targeted and provoked him can get ****ed.

And I'm not a BOO'er myself, but **** them.

Ugly: Crows fans booing whenever the Collingwood chant started. It sounded weird and dumb. Cheer your own team, don't boo the opponents for cheering theirs!
Disagree with this. However we do need to find a better chant, I think. Was there at the game a few weeks ago against the Maggots, every time the twats in the crowd around me tried starting the chant I joined in with ‘Colllllliiiiwobbbles’. Shut them up pretty quick.

So can Hugh Bond he was very good given his very limited exposure to the top level especially his composure, decision making and disposal was way way better than a lot of our far more experienced players. His hard work on his kicking over the pre0season is very noticeable now.
I have been a doubter, but he was good tonight

He wasn't on Elliott for a chunk of the game though, Worrell was on him as well.

I hate to say it, but TT cost us big time.

Cost us 2 goals directly on the half back line and missed another hand balling to Keays.

I'm a fan of Keays, BUT...

He cannot kick more than 40 meters, and will constantly ping at goals from ~50m out because he's selfish - and he screams and demands the ball in poor positions for the same reason.

He improved on this as the start of the year, but he's reverted to it over the last month.

I said at the start of the season, we have a top 4 list with a bottom 4 coach - but individual brilliance will win us games we should've lost.

Today just confirmed that, again.

If we had McRae as coach, we'd be almost unbeatable.

Our midfield has been thin all year - we have done nothing to address it, and when it matters, we won't be able to.

We also have a number of flat track bullies.
Not helped by doing things like drafting mids like Charlie Edwards, turning them into back flankers and then saying we have no spots to play him.

Bonds selection had a bit of Andy Otten 2017 about it

Had planted well and done his job when needed but instead of making a tough call as dropping a player on that situation despite the team structure demanding it we backed in the player based on what had gone not what we needed now

He hasn’t been good all year. None of our mids have been good all year. Even Dawson, despite all the aa captain and Brownlow talk, has not been good all year. None of our mids has been good all year. We don’t have any really good mids. Daicos, Bont, Anderson, Heeney. Those are good mids.
What?? Dawson was not great tonight, but he has had a very good year.

It was such a bizarre game from him. So many times he pulled out of contests, simply didn’t go when he needed to and there was one time where he just stopped and turned his back on the ball thinking it was dead… and it wasn’t. Hopefully he’s better for the experience but jeez, his performance was a real head scratcher.
Seemed like he mis timed his jumping all night. Was strange. Although our delivery tonight was mostly shithouse.
Good

A lifetime of supporting the Crows has left me immunised against disappointment.
This has also helped me in life.

Or drafting a midfielder with pick 4, then spending most of the season playing him as the sub or in the forward line

Not to say I told you so but anyone who knows footy could see that win a few weeks ago was a Pyrrhic victory that was going to cost us a finals win against them.

We played all our cards that night, the only ones we had.

It is funny like that. I thi k we needed the win to break the hoodoo but what you say is right.

In fairness Edwards was drafted as a midfielder/forward but can't recall him ever being played forward since we drafted him.

Dawson certainly went missing
