We legit could not get our hands on the ball in the middle. The one thing those 2 guys have shown they could do in the past was find the ball. I’m glad they made the change. Laird was worth it. Keys was notGoing back to Laird and Keays in the midfield when it all went wrong is a really worrying sign.
Not because the Laird aspect didn't work (he was good), but because it's a clear sign of Nicks panicking and going back to his old (and bad, unsuccessful, game losing) ways
Good Nicks, winner Nicks, tries Curtin, Taylor, Pedlar in there for a spark. Not Keays, who was getting destroyed all night.
