Wow 245 point final margin, that’s just ridiculous. Whats even the point in playing the rest of the season, just playing for the honour to get pumped on grand final day. 28 goals between Doolan, McLean & Quin. Makes you worry what they’ll do next week to Moreton. Were Mayne just that good or were Hinterland just that bad? Still looked like an okay hinterland team in
Gee that’s huge margin and agree on Hinterlands named side. Names like Simpson, Bussey, Daniels and Spring all very experienced Senior players. And at home too! Quite puzzling!

Few rounds in so thought I’d throw together a little power ranking. Keen to hear everyone’s thoughts.

1 - Mayne (haven’t beaten anyone above them on the ladder, verdict still out)
2 - UQ
3 - Caloundra (Your Mates beer on tap)
4 - Springwood
5 - Hinterland (few 50-50 calls go their way today and could be anyone’s game)
6 - Sandgate
7 - Moreton
8 - daylight
9 - Coorparoo when playing in a grand final

Genuine question, does this current 22 player point Mayne outfit do a number on the QAFL Coorparoo Kings / others right now?

Wow some massive drubbings already in this round and the biggest one could still be yet to come. For once what was the most competitive comp I’d argue it is separating very quickly. Seems like it’s Mayne, daylight, the next 3 Springwood, UQ, Caloundra even more daylight then the last three

You don’t understand. This is great for the comp. AFLQ said so.

What has happened up at Nambour? Put in a strong showing for 3 qtrs against University and have now have had just about 9 quarters of conceding 50+. Really concerning signs for the state of this comp after so many years of being close and a ripping standard with my Kings involved.

Yea 2 200pt scores against is serious alarm bells. Possibly could rationalise away the Mayne one, not sure same can be said about the Caloundra one - very light on for players - nearly forfeited the 2's game which is very early in the year to be in this situation.

There getting close to the score Robina kicked against in 2013 / 2014
They kicked 60 goals with Fulton kicking a lazy 20
Playing for them it was a very sad day for the sunny coast team

That's around a 300 point turn around for hinterland.
Just goes to show several injuries and unavailable players makes a huge difference no matter who you are.
