Tips this week
Park Ridge
Hinterland
Wynnum
Yeronga
MB

Pretty easy round, would back Redcliffe to bounce back. Likewise Park Ridge. Those two the only results that may go either way

Identical from me also.

Park Ridge by 50 v Sandgate
Hinterland by 40 v Redcliffe
Wynnum by 150 v Gympie (feel this could be a cricket score style win)
Yeronga by 6 points v Jindalee (match of the round for mine)
MB by 90 v Kenmore

Not sure Sandgate will be easy push over and we miles off our best team yet, so definitely a danger game for us.

Wish we had Swanny this week and I would be a bit more confident.

Jindalee will run all over Corrie's mob
And the Kenmore Mb game will be a lot closer than 90 points but with the game
Up
North MB WILL win by about20

see you still a tosser
Keep it civil.

I would be interested to see how many the average side have out week to week, and the balance of who they are.

Some sides for example would be missing senior footballers, which would mean they need to fill up with 2s footballers on the cusp. What is your balance Still Me? and is it a week to week proposition based on varied reasons such as injuries, work, general unavailability etc?

I find QLD footy can be filled up with some nomadic types who from time to time just become unavailable.

Reasons are plenty.
Work
Birthdays
Festivals
Sore
Sick
Away
Weddings
And anything else you can think off.
Every week and every club.

Only acceptable if allowed. Agreed, a fair portion of players are at this level due to their current commitment level. Plenty of give and take, but for mine as long as the players are open and honest there are minimal issues from week to week.

We have a policy of work and family first.
Footy at this level requires some give and take.
But agreed mate as long as there is communication and honesty all good here.
If your not struggling for numbers the above two points are a must.

I think most clubs would have a similar mentality.

I think since we had to go back to Friday Night Footy and then move forward again a lot of blokes got their weekends back so footy not a priority.

That and injuries because blokes not committed and training spasmodically seem to occur more frequently.

We have 7 changes from last week’s Senior side this week. No use complaining about it but it is frustrating. Think a lot of clubs in same situation.

I only mention it because when we get our full compliment together and win alright we get whacked because everyone thinks we have recruited the world.

I moved here from Gippsland in Vic, which is very much a footy strong hold, I now play at Redcliffe and we get more numbers consistently to training then the past two clubs I played for in VIC. Its just a generation thing, footy used to be everything and all that a lot of people growing up looked forward to.

All you have to do i look at the 14-20 age bracket when some of the other options like, work, social life and other options become available and thats when it starts.

End of the day you build the culture like Pugs said that makes everyone open within reason of what they are prioritising.
