Not sure that matters. The whole idea of the points system was to attract these AFL guys back to their home club for minimal points. He possibly didn't play enough junior footy at Sandgate to qualify as a bona fide junior as he did end up at Aspley. The number is 40 games.

My predictions are:
Park Ridge by 15 v Sandgate
Hinterland by 43 v Redcliffe
Wynnum by 205 v Gympie
Yeronga by 11 v Jindalee
MB by 37 v Kenmore
What game is everyone looking forward to the most this weekend? For me it is Yeronga V Jindalee.

Just out of curiosity, how many points are allocated to each team?
Still no team list for Gympie. Would be surprised if game went ahead tomorrow. Seems more and more likely they dont finish the season

Dont mean to be a s*** stirrer/causing panic but bloody big task driving 3 hours to face one of the toughest sides when you couldnt get 48 players on your home deck in round 1

Looks like they got their sheets up. 2s have 18 - walking on a tight rope - but well done to them for hanging in there.
You would think they are chasing that flag pretty hard. Been around the mark the last couple of years. I notice some of their emergencies are also high points too.

Looked like another great day of footy. We had the bye and my the next closest game I could visit was the MB v Kenmore game.
Was a much tighter game than the scoreboard suggested - even though MB won by around 6-7 goals. Wasn't an overly physical contest. MB were always in control though. Not sure the ins and outs for both sides, but would say MB didn't appear to play at their best. Number 29 (I think) who wore a helmet went really well for Kenmore and created plenty of problems for their midfield. But, in the end, the seasoned and bigger bodies did the damage.
Looked like the Redcliffe v Hinterland game was close. Any reports?
Poor old Gympie were belted in both games, and Harwood had a field day.
Yeronga made light work of Jindalee.
And Sandgate start their season with a bang v Park Ridge. I noticed the 2s game was very lopsided in Sandgates favour.

Well done to Fab and all the team at Sandgate. Done a great job to get up and going and ripping bunch of young blokes that all came over for a drink to support our bar which is exactly what community football is all about.
They will surprise a few and their twos will definitely be up amongst if yesterday was any indication.

I guess teams can only win. But with respect, they have played two teams tipped to be cellar dwellers. Some sides can be just flat track bullies, and I still feel the gap between top and bottom is enormous.
I will personally reserve judgement until they play a truer test such as Hinterland, MB, Alex or Wynnum. They have Pine next week in Strathpine which will be a solid test for them.
On a side note, looking at results, it looks like Redcliffe really served it up to Hinterland. Not hitting out at Redcliffe, but did Hinterland have outs?
