How is Josh Wagner a 6 point player, didn’t he play juniors for Sandgate?
Played AFL in the last three years

There were many good games on the weekend but how good was the yeronga vs moorooka game, Yeronga had plenty of talent with a 16-year-old playing and dominating through the midfield and forward Kobi Gallagher (no.55), former o&m player and NAB AFL star Jayden Gallagher with a powerful left foot (no.59) destroying the opposition definitely a player to lookout for, Former Brisbane lions, Collingwood player Anthony Corrie (no.18) being dangerous in the forward line kicking 2 from stoppages, Tyler keays brother of Tyler keays from Brisbane and currently at Adelaide was quick. Yeronga is definitely a club to look out for this year.
Hinterland look strong, sure they're right on the cusp of their available points though.
Looking forward to a good weekend of footy;
My predictions are:
Park Ridge by 15 v Sandgate
Hinterland by 43 v Redcliffe
Wynnum by 205 v Gympie
Yeronga by 11 v Jindalee
MB by 37 v Kenmore
What game is everyone looking forward to the most this weekend? For me it is Yeronga V Jindalee.
It's round two.Still no team list for Gympie. Would be surprised if game went ahead tomorrow. Seems more and more likely they dont finish the season

Neither has Wynnum I hope they’re ok?
It's round two.
Surely not.
That's what they signed up to do.Dont mean to be a s*** stirrer/causing panic but bloody big task driving 3 hours to face one of the toughest sides when you couldnt get 48 players on your home deck in round 1
Looks like they got their sheets up. 2s have 18 - walking on a tight rope - but well done to them for hanging in there.Dont mean to be a s*** stirrer/causing panic but bloody big task driving 3 hours to face one of the toughest sides when you couldnt get 48 players on your home deck in round 1
You would think they are chasing that flag pretty hard. Been around the mark the last couple of years. I notice some of their emergencies are also high points too.Hinterland using their full measure of points
Some teams get 45, some teams get 300. Just depends.Just out of curiosity, how many points are allocated to each team?
I feel for them. You spend 3/4 of the week trying to get two teams on the paddock rather than worrying about how to win the game.Dont mean to be a s*** stirrer/causing panic but bloody big task driving 3 hours to face one of the toughest sides when you couldnt get 48 players on your home deck in round 1

Moorooka had the byeLooked like another great day of footy. We had the bye and my the next closest game I could visit was the MB v Kenmore game.
Was a much tighter game than the scoreboard suggested - even though MB won by around 6-7 goals. Wasn't an overly physical contest. MB were always in control though. Not sure the ins and outs for both sides, but would say MB didn't appear to play at their best. Number 29 (I think) who wore a helmet went really well for Kenmore and created plenty of problems for their midfield. But, in the end, the seasoned and bigger bodies did the damage.
Looked like the Redcliffe v Hinterland game was close. Any reports?
Poor old Gympie were belted in both games, and Harwood had a field day.
Yeronga made light work of Moorooka.
And Sandgate start their season with a bang v Park Ridge. I noticed the 2s game was very lopsided in Sandgates favour.
Any reports from these games?

Haha well I was technically right... if you go to last week's results!Moorooka had the bye![]()
Out of interest how did Wags go?Well done to Fab and all the team at Sandgate. Done a great job to get up and going and ripping bunch of young blokes that all came over for a drink to support our bar which is exactly what community football is all about.
They will surprise a few and their twos will definitely be up amongst if yesterday was any indication.
I guess teams can only win. But with respect, they have played two teams tipped to be cellar dwellers. Some sides can be just flat track bullies, and I still feel the gap between top and bottom is enormous.Yeronga missing 6-7 players yesterday and still pummelling Jindalee. I think they will be right at the pointy end at the end of the season
